This has become my regular beer bar. The staff is knowledgeable and many are Cicerone CBS's and the 20 beer taps rotate regularly. Four stay Sierra Nevada but change often and have the best selection of their beer I've seen outside of the Taphouse. There are a glut of IPA's for the hopheads, they change out regularly as they go fast but there is usually a Drakes & Ninkasi offering with a couple others as the bar can get them. They go back and forth on sessionable beers, but I expect as those become more popular they will come. There is a sour tap! (a first for Chico I think) Trumer is a mainstay for the folks who come in looking for non-craft on tap (there is also PBR in cans), a couple of Belgian taps featuring Pranqster, and a rotating selection of stouts, porters & specialties. They have a large selection of bottles and you can purchase the bottles for home consumption too! The food menu is a bit different for a beer place in Chico and isn't necessarily for everyone, but it is delicious! Featuring a German flair, lots of sausages and some sandwiches. The salads are tasty too. The Patio is dog friendly and, despite having a kitchen, their licence makes the whole establishment not kid friendly

Cool new beer bar in Chico. Just down the road from Sierra Nevada. Location isn't the greatest though, in a strip mall just past the main mall. Blah... Looks pretty cool on the inside though, dark, with 3 big screen TVs showing sports, a decent sized bar, and a few scattered tall tables.

Quality is very good. They had only high quality brews on tap and in bottles.

Service was good, but lacking. The girl working the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, she was the only one there, and was a bit overwhelmed on what was a pretty busy Saturday afternoon. One guy sitting near me at the bar ordered a beer, and then had to remind her 10 minutes later that he still didn't have his beer. The place is really new, and they are probably working out the schedule, so I can't fault them to much, plus, she was very cool.

Selection was nice. They had just ran out of Pliny (dang!) but they had about 5 different one off beers from Sierra, a couple from Stone, some Belgians, a Drakes beer, about 20 taps in total. The bottle list looked good too.

They had food, but I just ate at Sierra so I just had a couple of beers.

Prices were fair, most pints were $5, and the pints are 20 oz. not 16.

Overall, a nice new place that I will definitely check out again.
