Softly cloudy and orangy-golden in color under a nice little white head. Sheety lace... Aroma is sweet sour funkytown....warm and sunshiny. Peach, apricot, creamy, floral, musky wood, white wine, spice, and some citrus. Taste is pointedly sour, sweet, bready, softly fruity, and the Brett is certainly noticeable. Great smacky dry mouthfeel. Implosively so.

I like it.

@ Ridgewood

Cloudy straw covered with a slim head of finely bubbled creaminess. Aroma of Brett-y funk, tartness, peach skin, lemon, wheat, and a slight coriander sweetness. Flavor is tart stone fruit, lemon acidity, white wine, and a mild powdery sweetness. Dry and fairly puckering in the mouth with a lingering dry funk and apricot/peach skin bitterness. Very nice as I have come to expect from Wicked Weed. Refreshing and super drinkable.

Poured from a growler into a weisse vase, the beer is a hazy, opaque, orange-yellow coloring with no head. Almost looks like a thicker Orangina. Nose of peach, sour notes, tart characteristics, Brett funk, floral and citrus highlights, and some subtle roasted notes. Flavors are tart cherry and grape forward, with a rich peach overtone to balance. Floral highlights all over, with a honey and toast backbone. Yeast funk a little towards the end of the palate, with berry and bubble gum notes. Aftertaste is heavy chardonnay and tart, on a light, smooth body. Finish is crisp and clean. The beer remains light throughout, keeping the drinkability up. Very refreshing.
