Pours clear golden with light head and minimal lacing.
Aroma- it's def a Belgian. Yeast flavor very evident.
Taste- yeast upfront with back end sweetness. Def get the Belgian twang late.
Mouthfeel very creamy. Goes down easily for a 9 Perc beer.
Overall- while def not my fav Belgian, this is enjoyable as a change of pace beer. Worth seeking out for sure, just significant notch below the rocheforts

12oz bottle poured into a tulip.
A: Golden with haze (yeast was poured). Massive Rocky white head shows excellent retention. Chunky lacing.
S: Crisp grain and bread. Juicy pear and golden raisin, soft clove. Light green hop accent.
T: More fruit-forward with a lot of that juicy pear. Booze-soaked golden raisins. Mild clove. Yeast. Freshly baked bread. Mild green hop oil.
M: Heftier medium body. Thick and creamy, even a bit chewy. Stiff prickle of carbonation.
O: Really good take on the style. A bit more rounded and hefty than Duvel (let's face it, that's the benchmark), but well brewed and pretty spot on.
