I recently had this Saison at a local restaurant in a tulip glass. I enjoyed it very much.

Look: it has a nice semi-clear golden hue with a thin white head.

Aroma: Fruity and citrusy aroma, some brett.

Taste: Tart citrus, moderate brett funk, some plum, very nice.

Feel: Light and crisp and nicely carbonated.

La Bonet with Pears.
poured 500ml bottle into thin wine glass.

A - Pours hazy, deep straw yellow with a nice 2 finger white head. Retention is excellent and there is plenty of lacing all over the glass.

S - Aromas of citrus, lemon/lime, and floral notes. The sweet pear fills in nicely and there is some grassy/earthy notes followed by hints of spice and funk.

T - Quite citrusy, with lemons, limes, and a nice pear flavor. Floral and earthy along with grassy notes fill in with a bready or cracker like malt. Just a bit of spice and funk on the finish.

M - Light and crisp with fantastic carbonation. Quite easy to drink on a hot day like today.

O - Really nice Saison and the pears work wonderfully with it.

La Bonte with plums, light orange color, taste is zesty, balanced tartness with yeast funk. Very subtle plum undertones. Not bad but I liked Oblivion better.

Smells of brett and musty basement. Fairly funky.

Thankfully, flavor is apricot dominant, with a touch of funk. Very light and refreshing offering.
