Given to me by a friend at the Funkatorium itself, and poured into a 3oz tulip glass.
L - Hazy goldenrod, with a minimal off-white head. Decent lacing.
S - French oak, grape must, and mineral. Funky.
T - Follows nose. Musty, like a military antique store. Granny smith apple. Well-balanced throughout, with a dry lemongrass finish.
F - Medium-bodied, with medium carbonation. Refreshing. Dangerously drinkable.
O - Probably my favorite so far tonight. Well-executed wild ale. Musty and fruity, almost like a good cheese! Complex enough to feel exploratory and adventurous, while still being on the lighter side of the spectrum. I'd definitely get this one again. Highly recommend.

Poured from a bottle into a Dogfish Head tulip
L: Light golden pour... nearly clear with 1.5 fingers of fizzy white head. Falls fast... modest lacing.
S: Tart and acidic. Green fruit and peach.
T.F: Just like it smells. Tart bordering on sour. Green apple, unripened summer fruit, peach, and apricot. Fruity with a bit of funk. White wine is more subtle... more oak than wine to me. Moderate acidity. Definitely feel it in the salivary glands. Medium to light bodied... well carbonated.
O: A very solid Wild Ale. Great flavor and drinkable if you like things on the tarter side.

L: Pours a cloudy yellow orange with a small white head and no lacing on the glass.
S: Strong note of fuzzy fresh peach, mixes with some apricots, tart and acidic.
T: Fresh fuzzy peach, a tart apricot, followed by some acid and tartness, a bit of grain at the end. Quite pleasant.
F: Prickly carbonation, medium body.
O: Not earth shattering but this is a solid sour.
