Black with a thin head and soft, creamy lacing.

Tastes and smells like a frozen chocolate covered banana, with some roasted malt notes, and has a soft, round mouthfeel.

This is an Americanized version of the Dunkelweizen, as, aside from the banana notes, it has more in common with an American Stout than a German Ale.

 

 

 

 

Came in a tall weizen glass a deep dark walnut brown with a large fluffy light tan colored head atop.Chocolate covered bananas and bubble gum aromas mainly,a bit of toasted wheat malt underneath.Flavors have a big chocolate and caramel edge to them at the onset with a decent shot of bubble gum lingering,a hefty beer for the style.Although the abv isn't big it seems bigger than what it is,not bad.
