Burst is an exploration of fruit flavor. Vibrant colors, fresh fruit, and a quenching tartness makes this session sour a vivid new beer experience.

Pours a hazy orange color, the only drawback to this brew. Smells of passionfruit and sweetness. Taste follows the nose. Mouthfeel and aftertaste are mostly sweet with a sour backdrop. The sour stays longer than the sweet. Very good brew, an eyelash short of outstanding

Kinda reminds me of smarties or sweet tarts in flavor. Decent and refreshing and light. A nice 1 off beer, but not something I would enjoy much in sessions or in quantity repeats.

12 oz can from the Wall of Beer (Clemson, SC; $2.19) with a July 2019 BB date stamp on the bottom.
Pours hazy, pale peach colored with a decent head.
Aroma: fruity with passionfruit and guava dominating and a suggestion of jam.
Flavor: fruity with passionfruit dominating and subtle suggestions of bread, lychee and strawberries. Near moderately tart.
Feel: Medium body with medium carbonation; semi-smooth.

Pouring from a 12 oz. can into a wine glass, this beer pours out a murky orange. It forms a pinky width of well held, white crown.
The nose brings a funk to it first and foremost while being backed by fruit. A rather clean fruit presence.
The taste carries over that funk from the nose and is still backed by the fruit. Really seems rather bland and underwhelming other than that.
The mouthfeel is too watery and lacking body or character; even for a session sour, in my opinion. It’s dry, and slightly tart.
Overall, this isn’t a bad beer but it just doesn’t instantly click with me. I think it could just deliver more, even for being a session sour.
