look: 4.25 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 4 | overall: 4.25

Pours out a dark black with slight ruby highlights and a khaki/tan head.

The aroma has maple, toffee, chocolate, roasty notes and smoke as well.

The taste is mainly maple followed by some toffee notes, a decent amount of chocolate, roasty notes and a subtle amount of smoke; more campfire smoke and less meaty. It's very balanced between bitter and sweet without either dominating.

The mouthfeel is creamy and the body is on the light side of medium (typical for the style). Definitely no alcohol in the taste or aroma and is very easy to drink. Not extremely complex, but a very good representation of the style.

Check this one out if you're ever at the brewery.
