5 oz pour into a tasting glass on tap at the Wicked Weed taproom.

L – Cloudy medium amber color with a ring of tan bubbles around the edge of the glass. No lacing.

S – Definitely a nice amount of sour, vinegary yeast, some caramel, apples, and a touch of oak.

T – The taste opens up with sweet caramel malt but rapidly shifts to sour apples, cherries, and grapes. Dry, woody oak comes through toward the finish. This isn’t a mouth-puckering sour beer but it’s very nicely tart.

F – Medium-bodied, decent carbonation, a sticky and tart mouthfeel, and tart and very dry finish. Sour fruit and dry oak flavors linger for a little bit.

O – This is a nice sour beer. As I said before, it’s not mouth puckering but it’s certainly sour enough to work for me. It has a nice mix of sweet malt, fruit, oak, and tangy yeast and is very drinkable for a sour. Solid beer.
