On tap at True North in the North Park area of San Diego.
Pour is light amber with fine-grained visible carbonation and a very durable, semi-creamy off-white head.
Smells and tastes like a well-crafted but unexceptional APA.
Feel: medium body; medium-high but soft carbonation.
O: Solid APA.

An unusual shade of amber, more of a brown-tinged orange color. Plenty of foam in the Duvel tulip. Pleasing carbonation on the tongue with a mellow malty body. There's a distinct bitter aftertaste, and the brewery says it's from Warrior hops. They also say the highly aromatic notes are from dry hopping with Cascade, Centennial, and Columbus.
In spite of all the hops it is just moderately bitter. There's even a touch of caramel. Hop flavors of orange and grapefruit peel, with some fruity taste. Cedar and artichokes for some reason. This might be my favorite beer from Thorn Street. Thoroughly drinkable and hugely flavorful. Poured from the big growler purchased today at the brewery tap room.
