The Big Burly Blonde is a very lightly-hopped and lightly-colored blonde ale with hints of of floral and citrus hop flavors. This is a very refreshing, easy-to-drink beer but be careful, at 7.5%, this isn't a 'lawnmower beer.'

A moderate pour from a 16-oz. can yields a finger of egg shell-white, short lived creamy froth with some sliding spots of lacing. Hazy translucent orange-straw color.
Yeast (lager?) and bread dough for the smell with orange zest and faint alcohol.
The taste is neutral on sweetness and very lightly bitter with mandarin orange, biscuit-like pale malt and faint herbal hops. A little grainy during the middle. The finish is quick and clean, semi-dry with moderate hop bitterness. Faint alcohol during the finish.
Medium light bodied, just below average carbonation. Smooth and refreshing easy drinker.
Low on hops and malt yet still flavorful. High ABV for the style, warms well.

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice hazy golden orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, hoppy, with a really nice peachy/fruity note. The taste is very nice, malty, hoppy, with a really nice peachy/fruity note, nice sweetness. Medium Body, ABV hidden very well. Overall, a pretty tasty brew. A very nice take on the style. Hard to pinpoint this one. Glad I got a chance to try this. Thanks Matt!

Sampled in bottle. I’ve had this on tat at trinity restaurant and it was way better on tap. It’s not great and just ok in the bottle.

My favorite one at bog iron. Golden hue. Medium body. Higher abv at 7.5, but very drinkable. Didn't even notice the alcohol. This is delicious, golden liquid bread.
