Very nice place to eat and have a beer. It gets a little noisy, but in a nice booth or at a table you won't be bothered too much by that. Well-decorated and very clean. Nice, clean glassware that's generally proper for the beer style that's served in it. You only have their beers to choose from, but that's no problem at all, they make great beer. Plus, they always have something cask-conditioned! Growlers are available at a very good price. Food was wonderful. They even tell on the menu what beer goes best with each item. The waiters and waitresses could be a little faster and more precise, but it is usually busy in there. Maybe they need more people working. Great prices too, especially during happy hour. Expect great food without having to shell out too much. I can't wait to go there again. Luckily this one is a very short drive from my house.

Review from evening of December 6, 2008.

This location is in Desert Ridge--a giant upscale strip mall. We sat in the bar and there were TVs no matter where you looked. In the main restaurant there were booths and it was semi-cozy in a "franchisey" way. The beers were good. I had the amber and pale ale and my brother had the brown. The waitress was very friendly and could make dinner and beer recommendations when asked, but she was AWOL a couple of the times we were ready for another beer or our check.

They had the range of beer styles you'd expect on tap and they were pretty well executed. We both had burgers and they were tasty. Prices were what you would expect from this and similar chain restaurants.

In summary, I wouldn't drive across town to go there, but given that it is equidistant between my home and my brother's I'll be back. We had a better experience here than at BJs, but we didn't realize Yard House was also in Desert Ridge or would have done that.

Chain restaurant atmosphere. Wife ordered strawberry margurita; pretty good. I ordered thier IPA, quite good actually. Service was a tad slower than what we wanted but we were just ordering dessert and a couple of drinks. We ordered a chocolate shake (which of course had stout in it.) 85% of the menu has alcohol. They seemed to have a decent selection covering many styles. I would like to have tried more of what they had to offer but we had just come from dinner and was just trying the place out. I'd definitely return to this place as we just got a taste our first time.
