L: Pale yellow-orange, light minimal head
S: Cinnamon raisin bagels, apple cider
T: Cinnamon wheat bagel, sharp taste, barely taste that horchatta ricey, but it's there. Malty sweet aftertaste, with a little fruit.
F: Light, weak, weird
I think this was the worst out of their fall sampler pack.

Look - yellow, slightly hazy. no head and virtually no lacing.
Smell - milk, cinnamon, and sweetness. really smells like horchata actually. whatever flavors/ingredients they used, they nailed this part.
Taste - light and slightly tart initial mouthfeel. fairly light beer taste with the same cinnamon and milk flavors come back in the end.
Feel - light bodied, medium-high carbonation, and appropriate ABV for this type of beer.
Overall - this isn't a great beer. this isn't even a good beer. but i like horchata, so i really like the taste. for the price and availability, i'd come back to this beer again and again.

Pours a yellow color, significant haze throughout the life of the beer. Heavy carbonation blows up a white 1" head but it settles into a 1/3" range when it finds the ability to start to retain. Aroma is horchata-esque, has the cinnamon and vanilla thing going for it.

Taste is the bland base plus adjunct. I'm sure whatever concentrate is used, no big deal to me. Whatever works taste wise. It isn't much in the way of a "beer" but it certainly does make me think of it as something to introduce my Mexican gf/friends to. I think the carbonation is way too high for the mouth feel, it doesn't ever settle into that creamy, milky feel like horchata has, it is too seltzery while trying to kick down contrarian flavors and mouth feels. More malt, less carbonation is how you improve this one.

The beer is a pale straw color with some haze but you can still see through it and the carbonation. The head was white as vanished quickly. The beer smells like a churro beer. Not overwhelming sweet on the nose but you get that cinnamon and rice mark. The beer tastes similar. It is not overly strong but has the flavor still there. The beer is crisp and nice feel of carbonation.

Way better than I expected and actually very good. Head disappears pretty quick. Medium carbonation. Smell was the only weak point. Not a bad smell, but it didn't really paint the picture. But the taste more than made up for it. Very very good flavor and very distinct cinnamon. Quite a good brew all in all.

Wow, it actually tastes like horchata. I worried it might be like Pinnacle cookie dough, where it tastes like rotting Chips Ahoy in cheap vodka; nah, the flavor really is there. I don't know about a six pack, but, this beer was made for build-six's. Unlike more physical flavors, this only gets a slight demerit for its texture versus what your brain desires.

L: Straw with a half finger head that doesn't last
S: Not very fragrant but there are hints of sweetened white rice and cinnamon
T: This is where it excels. Very crisp with obvious hints of rice milk and cinnamon. Not overly sweet or artificial at all.
F: Light with med-hi carbonation. Crisp
O: Better than I expected. They hit home with the horchata flavor without going overboard on sweetness. Definitely a desert beer but one well worth trying.

This is very unique......I have had fruit beers, which are not really my preference, but this is pretty good. It is as it is labeled... major hints of cinnamon. I would recommend drinking this with a salty snack or right after dinner.

Different, but worth a shot. Cloudy gold color and a light head which sticks slightly to the glass. Has a scent which will draw you close and a unique flavor which will cause you stop, think and take another drink. Good stuff!

A fairly clear honey with a finger + of white creamy head that sticks to the glass. Loads of carb rising. Smells like grain, a little grassy, cinnamon, and bread dough. Taste is bready, sweet, and a good amount of cinnamon. The feel is medium body, a little sticky, drier on finish, below average carbonation in the feel. The cinnamon bread is there, maybe just a little too sweet, just slightly, and needs a little more balance from the hops in the flavor. Great lacing down the glass.

L: Straw yellow color with a small white head.

S: Cinnamon and rice milk with a hint of vanilla.

T: Cinnamon rice milk with a note of vanilla. I've never had horchata but based on a description of horchata this what I would expect it to taste like. Cinnamon is slightly strong in it.

F: Creamy feel but still pretty light body.

O: A little one dimensional but still a interesting unique beer.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a pale yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of cinnamon, sweet. Taste is cinnamon, vanilla, malts, a bit on the sweet side. Feels medium/light bodied in the mouth and overall is a unique and highly drinkable beer.

If Santa Clause pissed beer, this would be it. A jolly good beer with a hint of cinnamon. I picture elves enjoying their one day off by parachuting off Kringle's sleigh onto a topless beach getting hammered drinking Blue Moon Horchatas off big booty Brazilian babes. A well deserved treat for the nice, the naughty, or an enslaved elven population. Nice work, fat boy.

Light cloudy golden pour, very little head.
Sweet, malty and cinnamon spice. Reminds me of cinnamon roll.
Light bodied, sweet malty ending with subtle cinnamon note. Almost no carbonation.
Overall, a very easy drinking beer but could have been better with no cinnamon.

Appearance - Appearance is a straw gold with a thin, white head that disappeared quickly

Smell - On first pass, the aroma is light, hinting at sweet malts and fruity hops. Disappointingly, there is no hint of cinnamon or any of the horchata flavours

Taste - At the forefront is the horchata taste - rice milk and cinnamon - along with a very prominent sweet malt. In a sense, it tastes like a cinnamon graham cracker

Mouthfeel - While thin, it still manages to coat your tongue. It also carries a light effervescence. In all, an appropriate body for a beer of this strength and colour

Overall -

Look: It pours light gold with a white head that is a bit foamy. It does not have very good head retention.

Smell: The aroma is very sweet. It has aromas of cinnamon and brown sugar. There are also background notes of apples and nutmeg.

Taste: The initial flavor reminds me of apple sauce flavored with cinnamon. It certainly is quite sweet. There is some additional spiciness and nutmeg.

Feel: It has a light body and a sweet finish. It also has high carbonation level.

Overall this is a sweet beer with most of the flavors and aromas centered around apples and cinnamon.

Aroma is pure cinnamon along with mild grains/rice. The flavor is cinnamon/slight apple pie crust, mild orange, malts and a slightly tart/spicy finish.

Poured into a pint glass. A hazy golden straw color with a medium-sized white frothy head. No mystery here: big aromas of cinnamon toast, cereal, and vanilla. The taste followed: sweet cinnamon, spice, milk sugar backed up with modestly bready crackery malt. A bit thin on the feel. Medium-carbed. Easy to drink, but not my thing.

I get that Blue Moon is probably the gateway for many people into the realm of craft beer, or at least it was for me. I've tried several of the various Blue Moon "flavors" and have always been sadly disappointed. Same thing goes with this Cinnamon Horchata. You definitely taste the cinnamon but to be honest, ale probably isn't the best beer to put cinnamon in. I've had various stouts / porters that have been brewed with cinnamon and other spices, which have been outstanding. This ale, not so much.

Pours clear, gold in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is cinnamon, vanilla, and big graham cracker. Very sweet, medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Makes for an interesting dessert beer. Not sure I could do a six of these, but makes for a nice change of pace beer.

I'm usually a sucker for beers with cinnamon (particularly stouts), but this one falls well short. There is plenty of cinnamon flavor present, and actually too much. The flavor of this beer is totally one note, and about 3 quarters through the beer it became cloying and almost undrinkable. Finished it reluctantly, and I have 2 more to drink from a mix twelve pack my wife picked up for Thanksgiving.

It smells really strong of cinnamon. There is also some cereal/rice cake aroma.

The cinnamon isn't nearly as strong/dominating in flavor, but still plenty to go around. Definitely a lot of crispy white rice and maybe some vanilla.

I saw someone mention a Taco Bell cinnamon twist. That is fairly accurate, and not a bad thing really.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/13/2017. Pours lightly hazy pale golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, cream, apple, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of honey, banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of spices, pale malt, and light-moderate yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of cinnamon, vanilla, cream, apple, wheat, and cracker; with lighter notes of honey, banana, bubblegum, clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of cinnamon, vanilla, cream, apple, wheat, cracker, light banana/clove, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of spices, pale malt, and light-moderate yeast ester flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and slightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.5%. Overall this is a nice spiced wheat ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of spices, pale malt, and light-moderate yeast ester flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Very flavorful and not too spicy or sweet. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint glass.

L: Pleasant golden coloration--clearer than expected. Not much head, very little lacing.

S: Smells like cinnamon and maybe vanilla--other spice notes, too.

T: The taste is what I expected, but a little weird for my palate. Certainly a lot of cinnamon, and I tasted the horchata, but I might not have recognized it if I hadn't been looking for it.

F: Lively and effervescent. Smoother than I expected.

O: I will probably keep this beer around in the cold months. It wouldn't be my "go-to," but it's nice enough to drink on occasion.
