My (usually) local, in-person trader, tone77, dropped this off for me in furtherance of The CANQuest (tm). He flew his snowbird self south for the winter, but I will still raise a toast to him. Prosit!

I Crack!ed it open & as another reviewer noted, the scent of lime was immediate & filled the room. I could not do an inverted Glug as it was a pounder CAN & they CAN be difficult to CANtrol. Even so, my glass filled quickly with two-plus fingers of fizzy, bone-white head with low retention. Color was Pale-Straw (SRM = 1 -2) with NE-plus quality clarity. Nose reminded me of Sprite or 7-UP in that it was not simply lime, but maybe some other citrus flavors, also. Mouthfeel was thin, but fizzy. The taste was lightly citrusy, but I am not sure that I would have identified it as "lime" on my own. It had a curious blandness to it, overall. I have had pop that had more flavor. Finish was semi-dry, slightly citrusy, but mostly just ho-hum. It might could work on a hot summer day in the backyard, but its lack of "Ooomph!" was leaving me cold today.

Free from friend at coors brewery in Virginia, drank out of 16 oz can.

Can immediately smell the artificial line smell and pretty much nothing else. Like in the classic keystone style it is smooth and like all like beers a lot of lime flavor!

Very smooth more carbonation that key stone light, but no after taste like bud light lime.

Good overall but not for beer snobs...this beer is smashable and should be judged accordingly

Went in with low expectations-- less than $10 for a 12er of pounders? At on old bar I went to in college, they had $1 keystone bottles and we made it bearable by putting a lime in the beer, which made me curious how keystone would make a lime beer. Poured the beer from a cold 16 ounce can, not the best coloration at all. The smell was very limey, and the taste was more lime than it was beer. On a 90 degree day in the Southern Colorado desert, it wasn't a perfect beer but it was perfect for the environment. The relatively heavy carbonation added to the flavor, giving a good feel. Overall, it's the best lime beer that I've had, mostly because the lime flavor overpowers an extremely underwhelming beer. I will buy again.

Straight out of the 16 oz can ice cold after golf on a 92 degree Florida day (I did pour a bit into a small glass just to see what it looked like though). Very pale yellow with the lime dominating the smell. Very pronounced lime flavor but with enough carbonation to make it quite refreshing. If you go for this style, IMO Keystone Light Lime is superior to Bud Light Lime and considering the price differential (I paid 7.73 for a 12 pack of 16 oz cans at a C-Store) it is a great value.

this is pretty bad, but i think i like it better than the bud version, and im sure it will do alright in the market. keystone maybe needed a face lift to draw in anyone other than a frat boy, and this seems to do that for them, at least for the time being. its super clear and super light, heady and well carbonated, honestly looks appealing to me. the lime in the nose is pretty overpowering, and seems synthetic to me, maybe less so than in bud, but still metallic and not real juicy and fresh. the taste, as always, is like the can it comes from, lime cant save keystone light as a beer, nothing probably can, but it is an improvement. one thing that i like is that its not real sweet, i dont feel sugary and diabetic when i drink it. carbonation is great too, i can see it being refreshing for those reasons, but there is so much good beer out there in the world that i really cant think of a reason to drink this stuff...

Poured from a 16 oz. can. Has a very pale yellow color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of limes, light grains. Taste is limes, sour, surprisingly refreshing. Feels light in the mouth and overall a mediocre beer, which is more than I expected.

It's not a very good beer overall. It is about as good as a Bud Light Lime, maybe slightly worse.

Keystone is the *best* drinking game beer, but Keystone Lime is terrible for that purpose and would typically only appeal to casual drinkers who can't stomach the taste of beer.

The beer doesn't taste offensive. It tastes like an even more watered down bud light lime.

It's not bad considering what it is.
