Presentation: 12 oz long neck brown twist off bottle, a freshness date is printed on the neck of the bottle.

Appearance: The head retention is horrible, as soon as the head forms it makes a soda like crackle and then disappears. Light weathered golden hue and great clarity which is not a surprise to me.

Smell: Virtually no aroma at all, faint grain and a light alcohol is all that I detected.

Taste & Mouthfeel: Bone dry and very light in body, decent crispness resembles soda water. Immaculate palate, just traces of grain and a bitterness that might be coming from a hop or just the grain husk … so vague it is hard to pick out. No after taste.

Notes: Very close to water with some minuscule grain characteristics, I am not sure if beer can get any lighter than this. You may as well drink a vodka & tonic.

Pours crystal clear with a head of white bubbles. Wispy aroma of grass and corn? Taste is near non-existent. Grainy and metallic, but no more than that. The only good thing about this beer is the commercial where they play "Mahgeetah" by My Morning Jacket. Man, that's a great song.

Why did I try this you ask? I honestly don't know. If you're on a strict diet but don't want to give up the beer, then give this one a try. Haven't I had this before? Michelob Ultra? Hard for me to tell the difference. I'd have to try Ultra again to confirm and that's just not going to happen. So... light-bodied, small white head, goes down fine with very little flavor. I don't think I'll ever have this again.

I thought since I like love Aspen's Maroon Bells, I might enjoy a lager with Aspen in the name. Damn, fooled again by engenious marketing tactics. This carbonated liquid in yellow with a white head. It smells and taste like ricey water. Hey, the body is also watery. I think I see a pattern here. Drinkable if you like Mexico City tap water.

Poured as an very pale / light yellow, nearly clear liquid. No head apart from a few stray bubbles. Nearly no carbonation to speak of. It looks like a very flat beer, definitely not appealing.

I couldn't smell anything apart from a faint overlay of grain and even that took quite some doing to detect.

Tasted exactly like water. Seriously. No aftertaste. No flavor apart from a tiny hit of grain - but mainly just like water.

Mouthfeel was strange. There's alcohol and it tastes like water yet feels really dry in your mouth.

Drinkability is obviously, outstanding. If you ever needed an easy beer to pound down like mad, get yourself a few of these and chug them like they're water (which it basically tastes and appears like except with a dab of grain and some alcohol).

Overall, I wouldn't buy this beer but I'm not opposed to drinking it again, especially when I want something easy to drink during a session.

I can't believe I never got around to reviewing this beer. Had way too many of these a while back.

Pours a bubbly yellow. Decent head. No smell except a thin waft of foliage. Taste is almost non-existent: just a bit of seltzer water with, again, skunky foliage malt.

Thin, watery, bad.

They had to give these away to sell them. I had a rebate to try it for free, but lost the rebate and never sent it in anyway. This is by far the lowest carbed beer I think I found, and it is pretty watery just for that. Woul'd buy this again, even if it was for free again.

Presentation: 12oz long neck brown twist off bottle, a freshness date is printed on the bottle.

Appearance: A one inch head that disappears extremely quickly. A light golden hue and very crystal clear mix.

Smell: Almost no aroma to be found here. Hints of grain and light alcohol are slightly detected.

Taste: A very watered down taste with a little grain and bitterness. This brew is just like water and a little bit of alcohol. There is also almost no after taste to be found (WEIRD)

Mouth-Feel: Extremely dry with a light bodied feel.

Drink-Ability: Another one for the “DON’T DRINK EVER AGAIN PILE”

Pours a crystal clear straw, with a fizzy 1/2 inch head. Poor retention and no lacing. A little cereal in the aroma, but very clean. Whispers of pale sweetness at first sip, which is soon drowned out by corn and rice. Semi-dry aftertaste, and the minimal bitterness balances without any hop flavor. Light body and high carbonation give it that ultra crisp light lager mouthfeel that condones a high drinkability. And the lack of flavor allows a super-clean finish with only a mild adjunct taste. This is a decent "diet" brew, but if you're counting carbs, perhaps you shouldn't be drinking beer.
