The fiancee picked up a mystery 6pk and this was one of the beers included. Blue Moon OG was my very first "craft beer", so I'm pretty excited to try it!
L: Pours a hazy, golden-amber with a creamy, 2 finger, off-white head with great retention. It dissipates into a small ring throughout the session and leaves behind sparing, delicate lacing.
S: Mango forward with an underlying malt sweetness on the nose. It reminds me a bit of Mucho Mango Arizona fruit drinks, if they were made as an FMB.
T: The flavors are nicely balanced. Lightly sweet malt and wheat bread blends nicely with the mango. Tastes like if Arizona Mucho Mango was made into a beer.
F: Medium-bodied with ample carbonation. Not sticky at all even though this is a sweeter beer.
O: Pretty good offering. If you enjoy mango and also enjoy fruit beer, this one a definitely one you should try!

This one surprised the heck outa me - huge, honey-sweetened mango character as soon as I popped the 12oz can. Still has a present wheat beer base but that mango is start-to-finish with fairly authentic flavors.

12 ounce can poured into a Duvel tulip glass. Best by date of 11/9/22, so well within range.
L---Not quite impenetrable, hazed medium gold color. Small white head faded quickly down to a ring. OK lacing.
S---Man, they weren't kidding about the ripe mangos. Strong mango overpowers anything else.
T---Well, they said mango. Overpowers everything else, even that it's supposed to be a wheat beer.
F---Medium bodied with good carbonation.
O---They said mango. Take them at their word. One and done.

Beautiful color, clear, with a slim head. Pleasant smell. Refreshing for a fruit beer. My experience with Blue Moon is the traditional wheat with orange, which I am not a fan of at all. Publix BOGO exposed me to a few of their others, Hazy IPA, et al. Overall, first, you gotta like mango. Second it needs to be real cold. Could be just me but mango beer should be tasted first if drinking various styles. As a mango beer, this is a good one. If you don't like mango or don't want to try a mango, pass, cause it is labeled correctly.

This is a great mango beer. Not very 'wheaty' even though it's a wheat beer. Tastes great! However, the smell of mango is not strong enough for my taste. This is another solid mango beer! However...
If you go into this beer expecting a blue moon with mango flavor, you would be disappointed. The mango taste is very strong. Honestly if you poured this in a glass and served it to me, I would have no idea it was a blue moon.
