UPDATE: l don't know what has changed. These days its more watered down and highly carbonated. Im bloated after four and regret my purchase at that point. I prefer Colt 45 HG or Natty Daddy. Maybe l'm just getting old. Lol
Had it a million times before, but let's review... Ever so slightly darker than the light version with a faster dissipating head. Actually not half bad. Less than two fingers on an aggressive pour into a glass, darker golden hue. Sweetish on the nose. Smells much better than the Light version. Baked bread, slight sugar cookies, very slight. No adjuncts or corn, maybe a bit of rice (?). Nothing special, but definitely not unpleasant. Taste is SLIGHT banana, breadish, again, sweeter than the light. Mouth feel is a bit slicker and more even. I would absolutely say that I would take the ICE version over the light any day of the week. Of course, if you aren't a fan of anything heavier than a light beer, this will not suit your palate. And nothing against that. I happen to be an ICE style fan when it is done right. And I feel this is better than Natty or Bud Ice any day.

Out of most ICE beers i'd have to say this is probably my least favorite but it gets the job done. Taste is a bit harsh in the beginning but after the first can your taste buds will adjust. These are available at the local corner store 2 tallboys for 2.50 and the labeling says that it's an ALE, not sure why most are saying its a lager. If your looking for a buzz without breaking the bank this might be a good choice. Then again there's many more other ICE brews out there that are more easily drinkable.

Here in Pittsburgh, PA. where I live, Keystone Ice/ass is one of the cheapest econo-swills one can buy . I picked up a 30-pack for $13.99 at a distributor .
It has that scary industrial grainy chemical taste to it.
A friend of mine says it reminds him of "lucky charms milk" .
A few will take the edge off a bad day or that too much coffee kind of anxiety but you don't want to have any more after that . This is I dare say "lawnmower beer" for when you just want something cold effervescent and alcohol-y .
There are worse cheap swills/malt liquors to be had so, this is NOT the worst cheapy swill out there but it is as I say , very industrial and a bit harsh after 2 or 3 and i've noticed the hangover can be pretty gruesome if you pound a bunch of it .

For what it is it's great. I'm an IPA guy. I love hoppy balanced beer. But this is a cheap decent beer. I like it better than natural light. If you're in college or want a cheap beach/pool beer you can't beat it. 30 stones for less than $15? Hell yeah!

24 ounce can into lager glass, best before 9/24/2018. Pours crystal clear medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin spotty lace cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Good appearance. Aromas of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and mild herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit too fruity aromas, but not overwhelming. Okay aromas with pale malt/corn and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness. Mild herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, corn, white bread, light biscuit dough, and light herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance; and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Nicely clean on lager flavors, not too fruity. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is good. A bit thin, but not watery feeling. Mildly increasing lingering alcohol warmth of 5.9%. Overall this is a solid iced pale adjunct lager. All around good robustness of pale malt/corn and light earthy hop flavors; smooth, crisp, clean, and pretty refreshing to drink for the ABV. Clean pale malt/grain flavors and decent earthy hop balance. Just a bit too much corn notes I thought, but otherwise pretty tasty. Pleasant and enjoyable.

Appearance- Actually pours pretty nice, if not what you'd expect for the style. Crystal clear, straw yellow/gold with a frothy white head.

Smell- Slight corn, slight table sugar. Not very much overall.

Taste- Follows the nose, but this actually has a very pleasant sweetness to it that's sort of a corny, grain sweetness.

Feel- Surprisingly medium bodied, with plenty of carbonation. Again, what one would expect.

Overall- Not nearly as bad as some would have you believe. For what it is, and for only 98 cents per 24oz can, this might actually become my budget option.

24-oz. can ($1.26) / Pull-date: MAY1517 / brewed @ Albany, GA facility
Stuck between the traditional old-school American Adjunct Lagers and malt liquors In the beer family, ice beers are kinda like the "middle child." For beers of this often polarizing style, it's equally as important for what they aren't as what they are.
With that in mind, Keystone Ice might be the ice beer for people who don’t like ice beers - it's very smooth, balanced & rounded (no sharp edges in its taste despite 5.9% ABV); Keystone Ice is mild and only slightly sweet with a super clean finish and no off-putting aftertaste; even as it warms it largely retains these same characteristics unlike many high-gravity beers.
Keystone Ice is more straw/yellow than golden in appearance - aggressive straight pour resulted in a thick head, lots of crackling and tons of nice lacing left behind. Economical and inoffensive, give it a try - you just might be surprised.

I had never had this before so i had no expectations. I knew it would taste similar to Coors because it is brewed by them. The look is the basic straw color you get with macro's. I actually like the smell of these beers, it smells like creamed corn and buttery rice.
Taste was very similar, tastes a lot like rice and corn. Little bit of sweet bread on the back. Fairly carbonated like most Macro's. There is a bit of a frosted feeling in the throat after a few of these. No extreme flavor profile but I don't expect that with a low-priced beer. This is not great for the taste compared to craft beer but it is most excellent on very hot days, very refreshing ice cold. 5.9% ABV perfect for lawn games. Give this a solid B for the value, price, refreshment, and drinkability.

Pours a nice golden color with lots of carbonation but no head. Smells like highly fermented corn. A little sweet and some bitterness in the back of the throat and highly carbonated going down.

Pours pale straw with quickly dissapating head.
The aroma is cereal grains, corn, and a little bit of Apple.
The flavor is grain, sweet white bread, and apple juice with almost no bitterness.
It's refreshing and good for what it is, it's just not a super flavorful style.

A coors spin off that is drinkable and not offensive. Smooth to the feel and not overly bitter nor sweet. No bad for a medium SG adjunct. Refreshing when ice cold for a thirst quencher. These ice beers are growing on me. How about a super hopped up ice beer.

Appearance: Light gold. A little darker than other beers of this style. White head that goes away quickly.

Smell: Grains with some sourness. Nothing offensive.

Taste: Corn and some sweetness. Maybe just a slight touch of hops.

Mouthfeel: Light, but not too watery. Easy drinking and refreshing.

Overall: An enjoyable beer for a hot day. Nothing to write home about, but nothing that makes it worthy of a drain pour. If you like this style of beer, then I think it's worth a look.

From the can, it pours a light golden color with a small head, soon reducing to a ring with some lacing. The nose gets the grains. The mouth gets the pleasant grain flavor. Not exceptional, but pleasant. A lager for a hot summers day.

Jared feels like a regular old ice-style lager tonight.

Appearance [2.5] : 3 finger head, recedes to about 1 within a minute. Body is straw with ultra transparency. Not much to talk about.

Aroma [3] : corn, malt, some banana liqueur, strawberry, fruit, straw and grass. Strong suit.

Taste [1.75] : spilled my beer again. It's malty, small bite of corn. Some sour funk at the end. Hops taste rotten. Sour alcohol nastiness at the finish. Not gonna philosophize this beer, it's a freaking macro ice paper bag beer. It's a little less than okay.

Mouthfeel [2] : it's a beer.

Overall [2.02] : pissed I spilled it all over my reloading desk. It's not great, not terrible - but almost.

Words cannot describe the horrible taste of this beer (if I'd call it beer). I picked up a tallboy on my way home from work. I popped the top and had me a few swigs before throwing that nasty stuff out the window into the ditch. Tastes like watered down milky fruit loops. Don't waste your .99cents.

What goes around comes around when throwing back Keystone ( except for throwing it back up ) Everything about it reminds you of why you drank this stuff in your 20s; chief among those reasons is because it's dirt cheap. Now that I am retired and in my 60s, it's still the same reason I drink the stuff ( although this specific brand wasn't around 40+ years ago). Hell, I can pick up 2-24oz cans at my local ACME supermarket for $3.37 out the door, which comes out to just over 84 cents per 12-oz. serving. The ABV is a tad higher than regular Bud, so if you don't have a beer gut ringing your middle, and you screw having dinner beforehand, you can get a nice little trip down the memory lanes in your life.....

I'm doing this review strictly for curiousity's sake. This beer was a transparent light yellow with a big and quickly-fading head after a vigorous pour. Let's not split hairs here, this is a beer for homeless people that can't manage to stumble into a place that sells Thunderbird or Mad Dog. Every so often college kids will also buy it to be ironic and then they'll pop their collars and high five and then drink a case of this swill and suck each other's dicks. The taste is as neutral as they could get with almost six percent alcohol. There's some corn, there's some alcohol, there's some lingering regret. The good news is that if you chug enough of it it begins to taste like water and that daytime hooker begins to look less like a post-op tranny. If it's cold enough you could almost mistake the mouthfeel for beer, and the drinkability for something rivaling a refreshing beverage. This is a beer that would make the people who purchase it sad if they still had the capacity for that type of emotion.
