Instead of adding the extra taste that you would expect, Keystone Ice tastes very little like beer and is awful in every respect. When it comes to the "Ice" branch of cheap beer, Keystone is at the bottom of the list.

Out of most ICE beers i'd have to say this is probably my least favorite but it gets the job done. Taste is a bit harsh in the beginning but after the first can your taste buds will adjust. These are available at the local corner store 2 tallboys for 2.50 and the labeling says that it's an ALE, not sure why most are saying its a lager. If your looking for a buzz without breaking the bank this might be a good choice. Then again there's many more other ICE brews out there that are more easily drinkable.

Drinkable AAL, but certainly not great. Had a bit of a "funk" to the flavor. It was borderline too sweet. Also stronger than many beers of this genre. Looked pretty much like any other AAL. Wouldn't seek it out again, but if one were offered to me I might not refuse it.

This is not so good. It will have a nice kick though.

Look - Pours a clear straw color, a thin crackly white head dissolves immediately, no lacing.
Aroma - Vaguely tin-like, watered down vegetable broth.
Taste - Watery, thin grain, slightly metallic, no bitterness, very mild but sweet alcohol on the finish.
Feel - Light-Medium bodied, fizzy.

Overall - Cheap and does the job. Gotta be ice cold.

12 oz can. Another indistinguishable macro lager.

Pours pale straw with quickly dissapating head.
The aroma is cereal grains, corn, and a little bit of Apple.
The flavor is grain, sweet white bread, and apple juice with almost no bitterness.
It's refreshing and good for what it is, it's just not a super flavorful style.

I'll never forget my first and only experience with this beer. My older brother had a party at my house and someone left one of these in the fridge. I saw the cool looking black can and i thought this was going to taste amazing, so i saved it for a special occasion. It may have been months later, but eventually that occasion happened and i remember being so excited to try it and when i did i remember having one sip and gently placing it in the garbage can at the party.

A coors spin off that is drinkable and not offensive. Smooth to the feel and not overly bitter nor sweet. No bad for a medium SG adjunct. Refreshing when ice cold for a thirst quencher. These ice beers are growing on me. How about a super hopped up ice beer.

Bought a 24oz can $1.99 Longs Drugs
Clear golden color
Light mouthfeel
Light carbonation
Sweet corn, grain taste
Overall not for me. It does hide the higher alcohol well adn the lighter taste is good for a hot day, but I think I would take a Bud Ice or Bud Light over this.

So this is my ice beer night, for reasons I will not go into. Golden color, no head. Nose was scary but the taste actually kind of made sense. Grainy, but not bathed in booze. It is by no means good, but for what it is, you could do much worse.

From the can, it pours a light golden color with a small head, soon reducing to a ring with some lacing. The nose gets the grains. The mouth gets the pleasant grain flavor. Not exceptional, but pleasant. A lager for a hot summers day.

Appearance- Actually pours pretty nice, if not what you'd expect for the style. Crystal clear, straw yellow/gold with a frothy white head.

Smell- Slight corn, slight table sugar. Not very much overall.

Taste- Follows the nose, but this actually has a very pleasant sweetness to it that's sort of a corny, grain sweetness.

Feel- Surprisingly medium bodied, with plenty of carbonation. Again, what one would expect.

Overall- Not nearly as bad as some would have you believe. For what it is, and for only 98 cents per 24oz can, this might actually become my budget option.

24-oz. can ($1.26) / Pull-date: MAY1517 / brewed @ Albany, GA facility
Stuck between the traditional old-school American Adjunct Lagers and malt liquors In the beer family, ice beers are kinda like the "middle child." For beers of this often polarizing style, it's equally as important for what they aren't as what they are.
With that in mind, Keystone Ice might be the ice beer for people who don’t like ice beers - it's very smooth, balanced & rounded (no sharp edges in its taste despite 5.9% ABV); Keystone Ice is mild and only slightly sweet with a super clean finish and no off-putting aftertaste; even as it warms it largely retains these same characteristics unlike many high-gravity beers.
Keystone Ice is more straw/yellow than golden in appearance - aggressive straight pour resulted in a thick head, lots of crackling and tons of nice lacing left behind. Economical and inoffensive, give it a try - you just might be surprised.
