I honestly think I like the apricot more than I like the mango and I really hope it’s not retired I hope it’s just a seasonal item

L: Pours copper in color. A whopping 2 fingers of head and oh my, the lacing. Frothy, sudsy lacing clings to the glass and coats it. Gotta love the lacing.
S: Apricot is dominant, and is rather sweet smelling. There is a bready malty aspect to the beer as well. Smells warm and inviting.
T: Full of apricot flavor that rides the whole flavor train. Doesn't stick around long in the aftertaste though. Malt and wheat also present on the taste. Semi-dry finish.
F: Medium in body and weight. Has a nice smooth feel with clean finish. Moderate carbonation.
O: Enjoyable. I have enjoyed the flavored blue moon's more than expected. Need to revisit the OG version. I am glad to have tried. Cheers!

I'm disappointed to see this beer has been retired. It's a fabulous summer beer. It certainly beats the shit out of the mango beer. It's fruity, yes, but has a more authentic taste than the mango.

nothing about this is unpleasant at all except for the intensity of the fruit, like, they have a pretty good thing going here, but its so over flavored as to be unnatural, the apricot is obvious and nice, but its like perfume in here, i feel like i am drinking a fragrance for teen girls not an ale, which is a shame, because this has all the makings of a tasty fruited wheat. i like the light spiciness to the yeast here, and the fluffy fresh fuller bodied wheat, this drinks like a beer unlike say most of the shocktop offerings, but the forced apricot element is a real turn off, and it makes it a hard beer to even drink one of. its not overly sweet which is nice, its just floral to the max, harsh in my sinuses and all, too much of what appears to be a good thing. i can see the appeal for some folks, but this seems like more of a beverage for non beer drinkers at this intensity. both this one and the mango from the same box had a similar problem. i used to like these flavored blue moons more than i have lately...

Pours a golden amber with a thick white head. Aroma contains apricot. Tastes like a malted apricot, significant wheat influences. Palate includes grass notes as well as peach and apricot. Drinkable, slightly overbearing on the apricot.

Amazing beer. Yellow to golden color. Things get better from there. Fresh sweet apricot taste and feels like you eating apricots. Smooth tasting and finishes well

12 Oz Bottle poured into glass
Look - very hazy light gold. Not much foam and not much lacing on the glass
Smell - Apricot juice and it is strong smelling. If i was blind taste testing apricot juices, this aroma would not seem out of place. I believe they use natural flavoring but it doesn't smell bad or fake. Pick up just the slightest hint of wheat as well
Taste - It's very juicy, extremely easy to drink, might as well be sparkling wine. Do pick up the wheat, moderately carbonated apricot soda taste, the cardamom spice is a bit too strong for my liking but it doesn't ruin it either. I could drink quite a few of these but i would prefer the normal Blue Moon.

Overall, this isn't a flavor of beer i love but i wanted to try it and it is a decent option for those that want to mask the beer taste and instead have strong fruit juice flavors. I will give this beer a grade of B

A: Straw to pale golden in colour, topped with about a half finger of semi-creamy head. It recedes quickly, leaving a thin sheet of bubbly foam and a string of lace.

S + T: Sweet apricot is dominant on the nose, followed by some soft malts. There's little else noted, and I am not picking up on cardamom when smelling. The flavour is very similar in that the apricot is dominant, though there is some greater wheat presence noted here. It may be just a tad sugary for my tastes, but this is a personal note and could also be situational.

M + O: Medium-light in body, though the fairly effervescent feel makes it feel a little lighter and more refreshing. This is a pretty solid wheat, and certainly a welcome surprise.
