Honestly, I don't think this one is so bad, its just not that good.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy orange color with a thin bubbly white head that dissipated within seconds.
The smell had a decent orange and lemon bitterness.
The taste was semi-sweet with an okay citrusy aftertaste and finish.
The mouthfeel was slightly bitter.
Overall, yeah, a basic American Pale Wheat Ale, nothing more and nothing less.

Sort of a pale to medium gold color, this beer does shine brightly though it shows a potential thinness beyond simply being light in body. There's lots of bubbling carbonation rising from the bottom, and it's needed as a foamy head struggles to surface. It does, though, and holds its own better than I'd think. Some reasonably decent spotting is also managed.
The aroma is very light, offering pale malts with some light citrus zest and sweetness both of orange and lemon. There's a hint of rind in there, though I get more the impression of watered-down juice mixed into dusty malts. I've smelled worse in a Blonde; more than anything, it's simply weak.
In the flavor, the weakness comes out to more ill effect than the aroma. It ultimately ends up making this beer taste more like a lightly flavored seltzer water than anything. Dusty malts actually go a touch astringent, it's got some corn husk, and it just goes way too thin and lacking in flavor.
It feels like seltzer water, too, and the best I can say is that at least it's crisp. Even that tingle falls off in the end.

Despite a crystal clear complexion this poured with little to no real body. The barley like color was tepid and clear and the head rose quickly and disappeared quickly.

The scent has a lot of bubblegum like qualities. There is a tinge of phenolic duct tape smell but it's not too bad. The aromas just don't jump out at you and have to be searched for.

The flavor is mildly spicy with a coriander, maybe, yeasty clove, maybe, and a nutmeg. The bubblegum flavors are more prevalent and then a cereal maltiness is found. Again, there is no jump at you.

The feel is lighy and crisp with more than moderate carbonation. It has a certain thinness but it is easy to drink.
