look: 3.25 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 3.25 | overall: 3.25

Appearance: Slightly hazy golden orange in color, fittingly so, with a modest off-white head, which soon collapses to a scattering of foam, with fine, glass-coating lacing, and slight, slow-rising carbonation.

Aroma: Strong notes of orange rind, neither bitter, nor sweet, similar to the aroma of a Valencia orange rind, as well as moderate caramel and wheat bread aromas.

Taste: Opens with slightly bitter orange rind, followed by prominent wheat malt, and a flush of caramel malt. Later in the taste, some mild hop bitterness plays off against the wheat, orange rind, and caramel; this brings the taste to a graceful close.

Mouth feel: Fairly full, with somewhat zesty carbonation.

Drinkability/notes: Decent and drinkable, would be very appealing in warmer weather.

Presentation: Packaged in a twelve-ounce brown glass long neck bottle with a twist-off crown, served in a New Belgium Brewing chalice..

Poured from 12oz bottle into 16oz mug.

Appearance: Amber in color with a medium-sized off-white head that dissipates quickly and doesn't leave any lace behind.

Smell: Orange backed up by sweet toasted malts.

Taste: Begins with a vague citric flavor which rounds out to sweet, buttery toasted malt flavor. Finish is largely the same with more prevalent orange flavors alluded to at the beginning of the drink. A touch of spiciness in there as well.

Mouthfeel: Lighter body has balanced carbonation and a watery finish.

Overall: A pretty forgettable beer. This brew is average in every respect. Not bad, but certainly far from special.
