Finally reviewing this legendarily mediocre beer. 473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. The mountains are blue. Advertised as 4.0% ABV. Slowly trying to review all the beers I tried in my early days that don'f have a review. Right now there's about 50 and will try to get that list down to 30 or so as the rest are no longer made / no are accessible.

Appearance - Very pale golden color, minimal visible carbonation and the finger of white head dissipates pretty quickly. No lacing to speak of after the head fizzles away about as quick as a soft drink.

Smell - Light grassy notes, vegetative, some weird metallic funk. Is this what 80% of the populations thinks quality beer is?

Taste - Watery as hell with a very faint indistinguishable flavor. Vegetative again but at least the funky metalicness doesn't show here. Still what's the point?

Mouthfeel - Very light, not overly carbonated but feels gassy. Slightly drying finish.

Overall - Blech. Still a very mediocre beer if not truly horrible.

12 oz can poured into pint glass for review (otherwise would drink from can)

L - Pours a near-clear yellow with a white bubbly head that goes away in seconds. Not much else to look at.

S - Not much in smell, either. Metallic grain, grass, straw, some corn, water if it had a smell.

T - Also water, if it had a taste. A slight metallic hop bite, some corn, some malty biscuit sweetness aftertaste but it really dies out quick.

F - Light-bodied, super carbonated, refreshing and chuggable, like most AALs.

O - Not much to analyze here. It's not as good as Miller Lite or Rolling Rock in my book, but at least it's not as awful or bland as Bud Light or Michelob Ultra. It's refreshing when ice cold (the coldest, as advertised) and a good deal on happy hour. I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy this often, but out of all the adjunct lagers, it's passable. It's also my 69th beer review, so all I can say is...nice.

From estucerveza. In Teku glass. Playing GooCubelets The Algoorithm. Absolutely flat, specially in aroma. Water has more smell than this. I think I have never smell something more dull than this

very pale, light in color. poured 4 of these into the shitty looking cup i was given for working on some indiana jones movie (they kept telling me it was a holy grill but i am very serious about my bbq to and this aint it) and got big whiffs of tap water and vomit -- not bad. tastes vaguely of bannana and i guess that makes me part monkey because the more of these i drank the more i started to like it and talk agressively with my hands and pretty soon i was throwing shit against the walls which in hindisght was a bad idea cause this is a rental but hey at least i dont own it right? anyway, this is great beer thats low in alcohol so you can have a half rack before you drive your kids to the doctor to get vaccinated (my wife and i want to make sure the kids get autism at a young age because we heard its more serious if they get it later in life)

If you get it cold enough to have it taste like nothing then you're doing the right thing.

What to say about Coors Light? This beer is one of the most boring beers ever made. It has less flavor than any other light beer I can think of, other than Michelob Ultra. It is not disgusting, but compared against beers of similar price and mass produced quality, Coors Light falls short. It's not fun to drink, there are lots of bubbles, it doesn't taste good with food in my opinion, and there is no reason to drink it, other than possibly if you are trying to down a 12 pack without getting sick. On the upside, it always tastes fresh, and relatively the same. If Coors Light didn't exist, no one would notice, at least not many, except from a marketing standpoint. The can looks cool to me and the silver bullet marketing, although old, is somewhat timeless and nostalgic. It's hard to hate this beer, as there is nothing wrong with it, but there is not much to like, either. This is the rental car/Holiday Inn Express of beers. It is okay. It hangs out for a long time in the cooler at parties so it ends up being a good leftover beer for working in the yard the next day. But overall it is a letdown. I'm surprised at how much shelf space it gets.

If you ever get into a situation - a most desperate situation no less - where this is the only beer to be had, start taking that long walk ... on that short pier. It's over.
