What can I say, my summertime on course beer. No other option at most golf courses we play. It is watery and beer flavored and tastes pretty good when it's 95 degreees. You can put 12 of these back and still function so it serves it's summertime purpose. Good beer?...No...drinkable?...Yes.

My buddy was getting his mail & I invited him over for lunch to discuss the Jets since we didn't watch the game together as usual...I supplied the sandwiches...he supplied a few ice cold cans of beer...Coors Light! Poured into a mug!

A: light yellow tint, white 2 finger head...reminded me of a lighter version of Stella Artois. looked weak.

S: Not much to smell...a little bit like beer. Nothing striking coming through.

T. tased like someone had a beer in my mug, then failed to wash or rinse it out before filling it with water & serving it. Not that the taste was bad, it's just that there was not much of it.

M: was like drinking selzter water mixed with a little bit of beer.

D: Goes down smooth & fast. Could drink a whole bunch of these on a hot summer day at the beach.

Overall: This is the perfect beer for one of those all-day summer events like a beach party, BBQ,etc. Goes down smooth & easy, refreshes and quenches the thirst. The low ABV makes it so you can enjoy several while engaged in a fun outdoor summer activity with your buddies...also it's light & refreshing enough for people who are not real beer drinkers to enjoy...not a favorite of mine, but it does have it's place in the beer world!

This is the staple of American football fans across the United States.
It is basically is a flavored water, with little flavor at that. Extremely light in taste, it almost leaves a dry aftertaste feeling.

It is sweet and easy to drink is mass amounts if that is your goal. It just amazes me that beers like this sell but the cost of entry being so low that every bum on the corner can afford to pick up a 30 brick that is probably how they have gotten to be so large.

For fun if you have anyone from Europe visit you and tell them this is the best beer we have to offer.....then smile and give them a good craft beer.

Joking aside it isn't terrible on super hot day....but then water works as well.

S. Has a mix of hop and grain smell

T. Very easy to drink beer. Good for parties

M. Carbonation kicks in. Crisp. Noticable sticky after taste

D. Its a light beer. Drink all you want. Like i said good for parties. Pour it for pong.

Final Thoughts: Its a fairly cheap beer. Good for parties. Easy to drink. I enjoy it

Appearance - Very pale yellow. Pours with some carbonation (about a finger). Can see right through a full glass of this beer.

Smell - None really to speak of. Smells faintly of some hops, but that is all.

Taste - Largely tasteless with a bitter bite at the end indicative of some hop content in the beer. Some faint rice or grain notes. Preferable taste over Budweiser or Bud Light, but trumps not many other beers. Leaves the mouth and enters the throat dry (hops).

Mouthfeel - Watery. No body to speak of. Some carbonation note while in the mouth.

Overall - Not a very good beer. If you are drinking to get intoxicated cheaply and do not want to totally hate the experience, probably a good beer. Would prefer Yuengling for the latter task, but I might be biased being from Tampa and all (Yuengling distillery in Tampa).

a good light beer, it is refreshing and it has some flavor as opposed to bud light which america seems to be in love with for some reason. light beer is not my choice of beer but if im at a party or sitting around with a group of friends this is usually what we buy and its not bad at all. this beer was not created to be awesome like newcastle but it is supposed to be easy to drink, so i dont think it deserves all the low ratings. and you can slam about a hundred of these without feeling full :)

Reviewing one of the most popular beers here in Canada. Ours is 4%, as are most light beers here. Gonna keep this one short and sweet.

Really light gold/yellow colour with minimal head.

If I notice anything at all, it's grains... this beer smells like a combination of cheap adjuncts. No hops [?]. At the same time, smells moderately fresh.

Like the closest thing you can get to water in a can. No "crazy" hops to throw you off... no thick, fruity malt to intrigue your senses. Not a whole lot of anything. It's the ultimate light beer for non-beer enthusiasts.

Watery and moderately refreshing.

Possibly number one in the world in this section. I remember beer-bonging it with a few band-mates. I didn't have to pay for it and I definitely had my fair share. It was probably the only time I truly enjoyed Coors Light. As for the rest of my Canadian brethren;

What the hell??

S- Rice, slight corn smell

T- Crisp, clean, refreshing like the mountains of Colorado

M- Thin, highly carbonated

D- In the summer, on a boat, on the lake, in 90 degree/98 percent humidity- drinkable

Had a Coors in a can. Coors isn't a bad beer. It's light and smooth. Color isn't all that great, just a yellow straw. I usually drink craft beer, but every now and then I'lll have some Coors Light. Pound 6(or 12) of these away and have a good time.

Great beer year round. Everything about this beer is refreshing to me. The look, taste, feel, and smell. Very bad if it's not extremely cold because I would say there's not much taste but when you need something to quench your thirst this would be it.

Not sure why people still purchase beer like this. I can make it myself a lot cheaper by soaking a slice of bread in a glass of tap-water until it dissolves then adding a splash of moonshine to give it that alcohol.

The flavor would be just about the same....except maybe a little better if you used fresh bread. Coors "liquid dinner rolls" light definitely tastes like the bread they soaked in their Rocky Mountain water was stale.

My relationship with Coors Light has been long and heart-felt. However, those were my college years. This is definetly like any other macro-brewed beer, with little to no character. A very drinkable beer, but in a "I just want to get slammed" kind of way.

Being from Missouri, I had to review what amounts to fermented goat urine. Besides being awesome for college beer pong tourneys, this stuff is barely fit for human consumption (along with Miller Light and Bud Light). It's interesting that you can get some of the top non-pastuerized beers on Earth for only slightly additional cost.
Appearance: Amber water
Smell: None noted, hints of diarrhea?
Taste: Water and slight hops
Mouthfeel: Water
Overall: Terrible, leaves you feeling bloated and sick.

This is one of my favorite Its the most drinkable one out of all the American light beers. This beer tastes much better out of the tap than the bottle or can. The thing that stands out most is the great taste, and the thing that I dislike the most is there is no smell and the color is similar to water. Overall a very good beer and I recommend this beer on a hot day while watching a baseball game.

Definetly a bland and boring beer as far as beer goes. Yet somehow it refreshes and hits the spot very easy drinking for a pale lager. Transparent clear yellow body. Best when enjoyed ice cold. Very common among college age people most likely because of the inexpensive aspect of this beer. Overall an enjoyable experience.

First, the positives:

Coors light isn't the worst thing you can drink. I have to admit, it works just fine with a helping of Sunday football. Listening to Madden's hit/miss commentary with Little Caesar's and Coors Light is an enjoyable enough combination, assuming that you don't have anything better in your fridge. Of course you can drink plenty of cans without filling up. And oh yeah, it's really inexpensive.

So there are positives, certainly. But there are negatives too.

Coors Light tastes like beer flavored water. The beer sitting around the rim of the can looks like good 'ol H2O. If you pour the beer there's very little color and almost no head, no matter how you pour it. Of course the frost brew liner is worthless--as if annodizing the interior aluminum makes any difference whatsoever other than making the inside of the can blue. This is not a real beer, end of story.

But let's not forget the positives. This beer serves a purpose and within its intended role it performs perfectly well. But here on BA, look somewhere else. Fast.

I do not even consider this a beer

A: Pale yellow, white head that quickly vanishes and leaves little to no lacing.

S: What smell??

T: See "Smell"

M: See "Smell" and "Taste"

This should be sent to third world countries with water-shortages...This stuff is like tap-water in a can. No flavor, no finish, tis not a real beer. Yet I have friends who swear by it!!

I grew up on this beer. It is my favorite of all the Lights. Of course, most people want to trash any of the light beers, but as a Yooper, they all hold a special meaning. There aren't any special characteristics other than it's a GOOD beer. Whether you're ice-fishing, playing bar-league softball, golfing, or grilling out...it always refreshes and produces!

Oh my this is not good! I just tried this right after a Bud light and found it to be even less drinkable. No real smell to speak of, but taste...hint of banana, slight lemon after taste...hops???, I can't detect them. This is a really bad brew(no where on the can does it say beer).

The aroma has a hay/grapefruitthing happening. The head is gone within a few moments. It looks like a flat apple cider. Not much taste but goes down easy. I'd buy this beer again when money is tight and I just need to keep a cold beer in my hands all night long.

Poured one of my old man's brews into a pint glass. And yes, the Mountains were blue.

Appearance- Really not much to this bad boy. A teeny-tiny white head that almost instantly turns into a ring. It has the amount of head that your typical pepsi would have, and that is kind of generous. The body is straw yellow.

Smell- Not much to it at all really, I can just feel the carbonation bubbling under my nose. What does old water smell like? It smells like that.

Taste- It's positively tasteless. It's watery and bubbly but doesn't have much there. Is fizz a taste?

Mouthfeel- More thin fizzy watery-ness. Pretty unfulfilling.

Drinkability- If you like fizzy yellow water than it could be drank all day. I probably wouldn't order this even if I was out and this was all they had on tap. More marketing, less taste. Thats the Coors Light way.

Very boring beer. If you're looking for a beer with not much taste and no originality, look no further. Basic beer that you can get for very cheap. This beer is very common among college age students because it is easy to find anywhere and it is very inexpensive.

Coors light is my go to beer. It's cheap and it's refreshing. As many people have said prior to me - it is what it is. When it comes to Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Coors Light, Coors Light wins hands down in my book.

Obviously I've had this before, but never in a sober state in which to review it.

I poured it into a mug and immediately thought to grab my keys and head back to the store, somehow soda water had been put into these bottles. But no, this IS the beer known as Coors Light. Yippee. Head forms with an aggressive "macro" pour but don't look away. It's gone before you can say Jack Robinson. No retention whatsoever, no lacing.

Smell? What smell? Let me check again... Reminds me of old corn and Nutrisweet.

It literally tastes like beer flavored tonic water. You know how Diet Coke doesn't taste like regular coke and has a fraction of the flavor? Coors Light tastes like what would be "Diet Beer".

Mouthfeel is pretty gross outside of the 100 degree summer day. Heavy carbonation to hide the lack of any real beer flavor.

Drinkability, Coors Light's only redeeming trait, is fantastic on that blazing summer day when you can't find any Genny Light or Labatt Blue Light.

A. the only reason i gave it a 1.5 cause it comes in a Cold Activated Bottle/Can which is pretty cool, but other then that its nothing special.

S. There is Absolutly no aroma to this beer.

T. Basically its water with 4.2% alcohol in it

M. its just really wet in you're mouth

D. make sure that you are already drunk before you drink it cause then you won't taste it going down
