When in comes to cheap-get-me-drunk-beers, I'm usually an Anheuser-Busch man, but when the local bar has Coors pitchers for $3 less than Bud Light, what can you do.

Almost clear yellow pour. Really fizzy head, about three fingers. All corn and rice on the smell. Coors' taste has something that always makes me say cooked vegetables. It's light, easy to drink, and only somewhat repulsive in taste. Mouthfeel is very carbonated with the consistency of water.

Not my first choice when it comes to drinking a ton and getting drunk, but if it's cheaper than Busch, Bud, or Natty, why not.

Appearance: Pours like Mexico City water. Looks as if wiseman Jorge peed into a cup of soda water, minus the blood.

Smell: Smells of last nights mistake, with a hint of citrus.

Taste: See above...think fish. WOw, it does taste a bit like fish. Fish and sweet malts and carpet.

Mouthfeel: Watery, fizzy, and kinda fuzzy. Pretty gross

Drinkability: you have to be shitfaced to enjoy this.

Mildly better than silver bullet from a can, coors light in a bottle nevertheless remains a low quality brew. As with most of this type of standard american cheap beer, it must be served cold in order to retain any form of drinkability whatsoever. Weak and watery with a puffy, fleeting head when poured, this is purely a beer to have when there's very little else available. Hard to drink more than a couple at a time.

Went to a college football game while on vacation in Indiana and attended a tail-gate party while waiting for the game to start. The food was great. The beer choices were, well, limited.
Poured in a glass, Coors Light has a pale, bubbly light yellow color and a fluffy little white head that evaporates immediately. The smell was faintly of pale malt and a hefty dose of corn syrup. The taste was initially syrupy sweet but turned wretched in a matter of minutes as the beer warmed a bit. The bitter, metallic taste was enough to make me stop after just one. The feel was light and overly carbonated, like a malt/corn soda.
I should have followed my instincts and brought along a sixer of Bell's or Three Floyds. I didn't and my palate paid the price. Considering the other options were Corona Extra and some malternative, C.L. was the least of the three evils. Next time I'll just drink water.
