Another random from the gas station I mentioned a few reviews ago.
Pours a rather light shade of black with a decent half finger of off white head. Carbonation appears quite heavy to my surprise. No stick upon an empty glass.
Smell is a moderately toasty maltiness with a touch of metal. Stale coffee in slight amounts and a bit of dark chocolate l.
Taste follows suit though the coffee amplifies and dominates which is pretty nice in my opinion relative to what this could have been if it completely followed the nose.
Feel is silky though thin with an unbalanced level of carbonation. Too much in my opinion.
Overall, paid $1.50 for the single so I'd say I got my moneys worth. Not complex by any means but a definite step up from a commercial stout like Guinness or Murphys.

I rarely see this beer available anywhere which is a shame because it's a great beer. I've actually only bought one six-pack of it a couple years ago but I would buy it again without hesitation.
