Pours a hazy reddish-orange color; mildly carbonated with a modest white head and excellent thick lace. Pronounced and somewhat tart note of raspberries, the aroma seems more like that of raspberries than an artificial flavoring. Taste begins with a slight surge of soft carbonation, followed by tart raspberry flavors atop somewhat subdued malts. There is a note of warming alcohol and some mild hops toward the end of the taste; the finish is slightly dry. The mouthfeel is reasonably smooth. This beer provides ample proof that the macro brewers can produce good beer - if they want to.

Package reviewed was a 12 oz brown longneck with a twist off cap.

This one poured a nice deep yellow with a good-sized head. The aroma was that of raspberries... prominently.

The taste was tart, and the fruitiness of the raspberries was pronounced. The underlying malt was there, somewhat masked. It was not bitter.

As raspberry beers go, this one was pretty good. Not my favorite fruit, but it goes well with the juice of the barley *s*

Medium reddish brown color, medium head. Raspberry aroma. Medium bodied ale. Sweet and fruity. There are some malts and hops in this beer, but they are really masked. The raspberry flavor is rich and creamy and rather pleasant, but it not really very beer-like. Still tastes ok, but don't think I would drink this one a lot. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is sweet.

Color is hazy amber, with a decent white head about two fingers high and had patchy thick lace. Smell is faint raspberries, fresh and perhaps even real, didn't seem artificial. Very fresh, and I just happen to like raspberries, so kudos to Coor's if they're using real and fresh raspberries? Although I doubt it. Also has notes of sweet malt and vanilla. Taste is sharp, tart raspberry with a somewhat subdued malt backing. The feel is smooth and clean but lacking in depth and any real character. Its not very creamy at all, felt more like a mild brown or mild amber with a fizzyness. This isn't to bad but I'd rather have something else. Spanish Peak Black Dog Honey Raspberry is a good comparison.
