Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a lightly hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and nice lacing. Aroma of dank and citrus hops, grapefruit, stone and tropical fruit and some catty dankness. Flavor is pale malt, dank, tropical fruit and citrus hops, grapefruit, dankness, mixed tropical fruit and lemon; moderately bitter finish with citrus rind. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Another of the hybrid West Coast IPAs, with traditional citrus (but little to no pine) and some dankness, but also tropical fruit character. I suspected Southern Hemisphere hops because of the latter flavors, but apparently this used Citra and Idaho 7, both classic WC IPA hops; interesting. The hop bill is a bit muddled, but flavorful. I would have liked a little more alpha oil bitterness, but it within the range of style. Enjoyable.

No date on the can. No idea how old it is but I will reflect that in my review.
Clear golden color with a creamy white head.
Grapefruit, honey, pineapple, pine, and pink peppercorn on the aroma.
The flavor follows the aroma. Pink grapefruit fleshy sweetness and peel bitterness, honeyed cracker malt sweetness, a hint of pepper spice and background pineapple; crisp and semi-dry, with a finish that smacks of oily grapefruit.
A solid WCIPA. I wish it had a date on it!

This one appears to be their stock West Coast IPA, and it's a good representation of the style. Nothing too complicated, but a nice hop blend and not overly bitter. Not my favorite style, but well made nonetheless.

Dirty, dark gold body; thick, creamy head. Zesty, citrus-like aroma; orange and grapefruit. Light fruit flavor; honey dew melon; mild bitterness. Medium body; crisp and dry.
A solid IPA, well-balanced and tasty. Sampled on tap at Cerberus in Colorado Springs...

it has been years since i ventured in here, we didnt not have a great experience shortly after they opened up, and it has somehow taken until now to find myself back here, but i am glad i did, it seems their beers have really come a long way. still a hipster hangout, but at least the beer tastes good now. this is a really solid ipa, golden in color, mostly clear, frothy headed, and with a neat hop complexion that seems to have some of the tropical fruity elements of the southern hemisphere types, new zealand specifically, but also a little more bitterness than we usually associate with those, this isnt all dry hops in here, which i like. its very balanced in aroma and flavor between the kiwi and pineapple and grape fruitiness and then more of a classic citrus peel sort of bitterness. simple pale malt base, maybe a pinch of crackery pils type malt in here, all very dry except for the swirling hop oils that define this one for me. it is pretty easily corrupted by the bright sunshine on their patio, so be careful with it, but inside and right from the tap its fantastic, as flavorful as it is aromatic, and one of the better beers i have had from these guys overall! nicely done on this one, great hop profile!
