Laaarge place. Seating for 25 around a u-shaped bar. High top tables for another 40 and a room that can be made more private with tables and chairs for about 40. There is also upstairs seating with a balcony facing the stage. Classic rock on the juke-a-box. Lots of live acts, and the lately ubiquitous trivia, weekly.
40 pulls with the majority being doubled up in-house beers and about 8 or so guests, right now including Bell's, Dogfish Head, and Sierra Nevada.
I didn't eat on my visit, but it looks great. Sandwiches and pizza, mostly.
Attentive and knowledgable staff.

Nice open place. Their beer is average at best. Bartenders are cool but the wait staff are not the sharpest. There are better places to go.

A couple friends and I took a trip down here one evening late summer of 2013 for dinner and a few brews.
The Atmosphere is quality. It's a nice, big area that includes a pretty awesome deck area out back if you want to eat/drink outside. The bar is a good size and seats plenty for those waiting on a seat in the normal dining area.
The Quality of beer is great as they offer a number of their own brews alongside a good selection of other breweries, and they have cans/bottles as well. I was able to try a couple different beers I hadn't enjoyed yet.
The Service was poor. First of all, we had no problems at the bar, so that was not the issue. We chose to sit outside, and we were flat-out ignored by multiple waitresses that walked past, and after 15 minutes we had to walk over and ask someone inside to have someone serve us. The food took a long time despite it not being very crowded, and the waitress was not attentive when we wanted new drinks. They also screwed up our check, and nobody tried to make this experience up to us.
The food was alright. Nothing bad whatsoever, but nothing we ordered stood out, and I wouldn't go back specifically to eat any of it. I'd much rather eat next door at Frankie's Night Out.
I would come here to grab drinks again at the bar thanks to the attentive bartenders and solid beer selection, but I'd never eat here again thanks to combination of the poor service and the okay food.

It looks like I'm the first one out of the gate with a review of Nevin's. I'd say that they're still stumbling a bit eight month or so after opening, but there are good possibilities.
Nevin's is located in a nondescript strip-mall in a Chicago suburb. The place is enormous inside, with high ceilings, lots of tables and a huge bar with roughly 50 taps. Of those 50 taps, Nevin's own beers get six or seven. The rest are guest craft beers from all over the country, plus a handful of Macros. A large patio with pool tables adds to the space. There are lots of TVs so that you can watch from no matter where you sit. I was there fairly early, so there wasn't much of a crowd yet. The people who were there seemed like regulars.
The food here is standard pub fare. Burgers, sandwiches and pizzas dominate the menu. Portions are good sized and the food itself above average, but nothing we had really stood out. Our waitress seemed to forget about us more than once. The house beers we had were average.
Overall, I want this place to succeed. There were just a few too many rough edges on my visit to make me walk away truly happy.
