On tap at The Tap in Bloomington

Pours somewhat murky orange with a few reddish hues. Nice 2 finger off-white head with decent lacing and retention.

Classic American hop presence in the aroma. Some citrusy fruit with pine and a little floral essence.

Very well balanced flavor. Crisp citrus up front, but there is a strong bready malt backbone that is not as evident in the nose. Finishes with a bit of grapefruit and pine, but not overly bitter. My girlfriend who hates most IPA's even enjoyed the balance on this one.

Creamy mouthfeel. Medium bodied with good carbonation.

Solid beer from a new brewer who appears to be doing things right so far. It was advertised as a West Coast IPA which I wouldn't necessarily agree with since it had more malt than is typical of that sub-genre. What it is though is a extremely well balanced smooth IPA and a superb beer for a brand new brewery.

Started seeing this on the shelves in NW Indiana and decided to give it a try. It was canned 12/21/15 and I'm serving it in my Weyerbacher tulip glass.

Look- Pours a brilliant somewhat cloudy gold color with lively carbonation that produces two fingers of white creamy foam. A beautiful looking beer.

Smell- Grapefruit, mango, and some orange peel. There is some cereal and a bit of yeast in the back.

Taste- Grapefruit, orange zest, a bit of passionfruit and lemon peel. A healthy amount of malt to balance it out.

Feel- A nice hop bite up front followed by a creamy and slick malt backbone.

Overall- I passed on this once and it sold out rather quickly being new to our area. Another shipment hit last week and I decided to pull the trigger out of curiosity and the $10.99 price for a four pack of tall boys. It was a wise decision as this is one flavorful beer that has a nice balance of hop flavor and slick malt making it one easy drinking IPA. I'd love to find a fresher batch next time to really taste it in all its glory. I'll be keeping my eyes open for this one in the future!

Poured into a Dogfish traditional oversized snifter. No freshness date.

A- Pours a medium amber color with a 1/2 inch off-white head that retains well before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and some random splotches of bubbly surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves a broken ring behind.

S- Nice dry-hop aroma of piney hops and just enough malt backing to balance.

T- The pineyness continues and there's some extra earthy quality to the hop flavor. Very easy to drink for the ABV and has a moderate bitterness.

M- Slightly sharp from the hops with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the lighter side.

O- This is my first Daredevil beer and it's quite solid. Definitely on the more earthy side of the spectrum, but delivers good flavor and drinkability.

Pours from the pint can a cloudy, murky amber, with attractive head of off-white foam. Lace is spotty.

Nose is nice tropical hops -- I get pineapple, citrus, mango...very very nice!

Taste is brisk and bitter up front, and noticeably carbonated heavily. I get sour grapefruit most prominently here. Lift Off is a refreshing IPA with a light, drinkable body (despite the heavy 7.2% ABV). Definitely a solid and well-done IPA -- not a game changer, but solid.
