Aroma is sweet tropical fruit and earth. Taste follows suit with a dank hop and bitter finish. Feel is thing and silky but finishes dry, decent beer.

16oz can stamped 12/10/2020 (packaged 18 days ago) poured into a Spiegelau IPA glass at fridge temp, no ABV listed on can. The beer pours mostly bright light honey amber in color with off white head. The head recedes to a fluffy cap and leaves a web of lacing. The aroma is pungent and features candied orange, melon, grapefruit, pine and danker, tropical fruit notes. The taste is semisweet light malt with a slight caramel, more toasted, malt backbone before the onslaught of hop flavor. Mostly dank, earthy, piney with lighter influence of lemon, grapefruit, orange and melon. Big lasting bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with average carbonation and a mostly dry finish. Residual hop oil, not sweetness, keeps it from completely dry. Overall, very good to excellent. This is certainly one to get on draft or fresh if you're in Indy.

The pour leaves a solid, white pillow that lingers over a mostly clear, gold body.
The smell is a muted citrus with faint bread notes.
This is a very good tasting beer. Citrus and pine in that order, with a pithy alcohol taste that is pleasing and bright.
Carbonation is as expected with a medium body that carries the beer well.
Great mid-era DIPA that brings old school bitterness and new school citrus to play on your palate.

A - Medium gold color with a slight haze and sticky white lacing.
S - Some spicy pepper fruit rind and biscuity malt. Overall aroma is light.
T - Pineapple, red grapefruit, peppery fruit rind, and ends with a spicy pineapple fruit rind and lingering citrus bitterness with some pine resin. The alcohol does poke through midway on the sip, but just a little bit.
M - Thick body and dry finish.
O - This is a solid West Coast style D-IPA.

16oz can, tulip, canned 1/2/20.
The color is at the light end of the golden, yellow-orange continuum with a white head that quickly dwindles, but leaves a good ring and scattered bits of lace.
Pineapple, orange and grapefruit peel, slightly dank, very fresh and fragrant.
Candied citrus, white grapefruit and pineapple juices. There’s apparent alcohol, which adds to the bitterness, but it’s not boozy. There’s a great synergy of hop fruitiness, hop bitterness, and the pale malt. It’s sweet, yet dry at the same time.
Medium bodied, medium low carbonation. Silky with just enough tickle.
I’m stoked that this is such a good West Coast style DIPA. Thanks for the can Cliff!

Had on tap at Old Chicago At the Delta in Indianapolis. Pali should good colour with a nice white head. Some tropical fruit int he smell but very little in the taste. Very balanced, hoppy but not bitter. It hides its alcohol very well.
Great IPA.

Clear gold with theo fingers of off-white head. Sudsy lacing.
Light pine and even lighter pineapple and orange in the nose.
A flash of pineapple and orange sweetness up front in the taste. A little peppery bite mid-palate. Solid enough malt backbone without becoming too distinctive. Slightly catty. Dull earthy bitterness in the finish.
Somewhat syrupy feel with nice carbonation.
A really tasty West Coast DIPA. Very enjoyable old-school goodness.

This is a CANtinuation of yesterday's New Hoosier Daddy Beer Sunday (Week 738)! I am CANtinuing with CANs from IndiCANa, courtesy of @AyatollahGold & @jkblr both of whom have recently hooked me up, Hoosier style. I ran out of both time & steam yesterday, but not beer!
From the CAN: "An abundance of American hops balanced with a hint of malt to produce an exhilarating experience of intense hop flavors and aromas."; "Brewing eclectic, aggressively fun beers is not for the timid. Fortunately, the only thing we like better than a challenge is drinking the end result."
I am becoming more & more CANamored of Daredevil BC with every CAN that shows up from them! Unfortunately, this is my last (for now). 8=( I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent & CANmencing a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. As with its predecessor, it appeared to be unfiltered & so I CANtinued my pour until the foaming action became almost too much for the glass. I would up with just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, French Vanilla-colored head with decent retention, leaving nice lacing behind in its wake. Color was a moderately-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5). Nose had the most current eclectic mix of hops, ranging from tropical sweetness to grapefruit bitterness to a bit of cattiness & some pine coolness. Mmm. Now, for the taste … Mouthfeel was medium, a little light for a DIPA/AIIPA. The taste was a marvelous mélange of flavors, beginning with the cool CANbination of tropical fruit & pine forest, followed by a blast of grapefruit bitterness, finished by Simcoe the Kitty slinking away, having finished her business. Wow! This caused my heart to beat a little faster. Phew! The alcohol was well-hidden, making it all the more dangerous. It was eminently drinkable & I was going to town until I happened to glance down at the speedometer which was now pegged out at 120 + per! Eek. I'm not THAT much of a Daredevil so I beCAN to back off & slow down. Finish was semi-dry with a preponderance of tropical fruitiness that the pine & grapefruit simply could not overcome. Phew!

Fantastic West Coast DIPA.
L- slightly hazy yellow straw.
S- citrus, dank and pine.
T- resinous, citrus, pine and a bit of onion. Tons of hops but not overly bitter.
F- bigger, a bit of booze but ultimately dry finish for the ABV.
I’m my opinion, Daredevil is top 3 for hops in the state.

Pouring from a 16 oz. can into a becher glass. This beer pours slightly hazy and straw like in color. It forms a thinner white crown that dissipates quickly into a ring around the glass. The smell is piney and juicy with citrus notes. Has a sweetness detected too. The taste comes in with a cracker like dry presence mixing with the citrus. I love cracker presence as a background of IPAs.

A very solid West coast-style DIPA for a local Indiana brewery. An attractive golden honey color with a moderate head, depending on the aggressiveness of the pour from the 16-oz can. Pomelo, grass, and pine resin on the nose, with some balancing malt and honeyed sweetness on the palate. Intense bitter hop character with floral undertones, leading to a lingering bittersweet finish. Moderately full body and smooth mouthfeel. Edit: finishing out a 4-pack after a month of business travel, I can say that this review still holds after a month. The can is dated May 15, I'm drinking August 1, and everything noted above is just as true now as it was a month ago, so this DIPA doesn't seem to fall off quickly like some.

16oz can: this one pours a fairly opaque golden color. There was really no had or lacing to it. The aroma is good. Citrus, orange, resinous and other tropical hops. The taste is good. Similar flavors to the aroma, with some biscuit and sweetness. Nice!

Appearance: Pours a hazy golden with a head of white lace.
Aroma: Tropical hops all over the place. Solid.
Taste: Bitter grapefruit, tropical, orange. There is a lingering bitterness or acidity here that’s a bit off-putting, and a slight warming at the finish. Solid, but not a favorite.
