Magic. Adventure. Mayhem. Fluffy bunny hugs. Bluffy hunny fugs. Sunshine farts on a skittle tart. German and English malts stalk one another in the K4 thunderdome, whilst Mosaic and Centennial hops willfully participate in the bloody sugarlust. Two malts enter, one beer leaves. It doesn’t take a team of rocket appliances to comprehend that this beer kicks ass.

Appearance: Pours a clear, light to medium orange color with a medium white head. SRM of 11-12. (3.75)
Aroma: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus and herbs upfront. Some light onion and pine underneath. Little malt.
Flavor: The flavor follows the nose with more orange, red grapefruit citrus. A light but present herbal quality. Hints of pine and lemon Pine Sol in the back. Finishes juicy with minimal bitterness. No malt body so finishes hoppy and relatively dry.
Feel: Lighter-bodied. Low carbonation. Finishes flat and clean. (3.25)
Compared to Sierra Nevada's Pale Ale 2/16/21: Pours a lighter color. Stronger aromas. More orange, grapefruit, and herbs. Much less malt body. Lighter, cleaner, and more flat.
Overall: A pretty average Pale Ale here. Maybe mine was a bit old, given I am drinking it in February when it is listed on their site as a Spring beer. I don't know because, I they didn't date the bottle.
It tasted sort of like a fruity pale ale that had become a bit stale. Not to bash the beer because it's actually quite nice. Nice clean citrus and herbal aromas/flavors. The body and mouthfeel is flat though. Lacking in bitterness, carbonation, and malt body. (Final Rating: 3.64)

Straightforward very enjoyable classic pale ale. Well balanced. Flavour develops nicely into a rich round taste and a dry bitter citrus-rind finish. I'll have another!
