Notes: Our flagship American IPA highlights the distinctively aromatic Australian Galaxy hop. The nose bursts with pine, citrus rind, melon and pineapple. Pronounced flavors of peach, clementine, and tropical fruits are accentuated with moderate bitterness and balanced by a light, biscuity malt character.

MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, Dextrine, Dextrose

Pours a hazy cloudy, completely opaque orange color. Thick velvety white head dissipates somewhat but a residual one finger head remains on the beer even as its consumed.

Aroma has notes of orange, mango, nectarine, pineapples and a hint of citrus. Very aromatic with strong fruity notes.

Taste follows the nose with orange, peach, mango and pineapple. A hint of piney bitterness comes through on the back end into the finish. Cracker malt backbone come through on the back end. Mild hop bite on the back end, but very balanced.

Feel is medium bodied, smooth, with medium carbonation.

This is really the quintessential NE style IPA from Trillium. A fantastic beer and a fantastic NE styled IPA.

Look- Hazy Orange. Has a thick luck to it. Very little translucency

Smell- Nothing over powering. Light hints of orange, pineapple, melon with a twist of pine resin

Taste- Very nice orange/melon/pineapple palate. Nothing over powering but we'll rounded throughout each drink

Feel- Juicy and Full. Nice carbonation with a slight peppery/hop bite at the end

Overall- This is a nice beer. Alot of good qualities and we'll rounded. Easy drinker that can be a Crusher or a sipper depending on your mood

16oz can purchased at the Canton brewery stamped 11/02/17. Hazy orange look and citrus/grassy/piney nose. Complex flavors come and go and include citrus such as mango, orange and grapefruit along with a hint of peach sweetness. Slight grapefruit bitterness comes in on the finish. Another very enjoyable beer from Trillium.

Bought 4 pack from Canton. Was a bit disappointed. Am used to Treehouse and this was my first Trillium. Taste is more spring onion than juice bomb to me.

From a tall boy from the fort point shop, into a willibecher, pours a chalky hazy and murky orange. Nose is excellent — a little sweet weed, some faint pine, and then a mix of tropical and citrus fruits. Taste is along the same lines, though less pine. Mouthful is lush and soft, super juicy. Among the best in style?

This is amazing stuff. I may move to New England just to get more treats from Trillium. Two pints in I was hallucinating and thinking I was drinking some sort of cloudy, pulpy, fruity hop shake.

Went to the Canton brewery last night. First Trillium beer I ever had. The beer poured with a dark, hazy, orange appearance with no head but thick lacing. The aromas were grassy with a dense amount of hoppy citrus. The taste itself felt like a sweet, orange juice mixed with booze; amazing. This was a very drinkable beer with a good carbonation. Overall, this beer was outstanding across the board.

Thanks goes out to MastaaaGrillaaa for this brew, from NBS BIF#6

16 oz. Can
Canned On: 23-AUG-17

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves some very nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, mango, apricot), with some nice diesel like. The taste is very nice hoppy, malty, with a really nice citrus complex (orange, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, mango, apricot), nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty brew. Addictive! Orange Juilus! Milkshake!. Glad to have gotten a chance to try it.

Pours hazy orange-gold with a pinky finger of off-white head.

The nose is peach candy, bubblegum, and green onion, and the taste largely follows. Balanced, with a medium mouthfeel. Equal parts fruity and green. This is an impressive IPA, definitely in my top 10. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Clean and easy drinking. 9.5/10

L- beautiful creamy, hazy, opaque, juice.
S- lots of pineapple, tropical fruit, peach, floral hops.
T- smell plus a good amount of Spice and bitterness, ganging up on the tastebuds on the back of the tongue.
F- heavy and juicy, the spice lingers on the palate.
O - I don't have too much experience with Trillium, but man do they cram a lot of hops into this thing. Straight hop juice. A wonderful, top tier beer, but when compared to Treehouse, this beer is bitter and spicy to the point of tiring the palate. My tongue is all jacked up on hops and it lacks the balance and smoothness of the house.

Thanks to my East coast hookup for this beauty. 7.2% ABV, 1 Pint. Canned date is April 18, 2017.

This thing pours a beautiful golden orange. Hazy color, foamy head.

The nose is all pineapple with a slight bitterness in the finish. On the sweeter side, getting honey as well with floral and citrus notes to compliment it.

Man this is good. Honey, tropical fruit, and some hop bitterness in the finish just to remind you that what you're sipping is 7.2%. A nice breadiness to boot. Awesome.

Super smooth, crisp, and not as creamy as the haziness may suggest. Some nice lace retention as well.

This is fabulous. Would like to get a slightly fresher can at some point to maybe compare, but I'm not getting anything bad from this. Super balanced, and amazing tropical and honey notes that baffle me as to how it's still surpassing 7% ABV. A world class beer from Trillium.

Pours a deep cloudy golden color with decent head and lacing. Notes of citrus, floral, pine, and honey. Taste is amazing, very smooth sweet notes of honey and floral, followed with some mild bitterness and hoppy undertones. Excellent beer, very smooth and easy to drink, outstanding IPA.

Possibly the best appearance in an IPA ever. Well, maybe Tree House's Bright is a touch better to my eyes, but this head stands so tall beyond the lip of the glass, and the perfect glow and light transparency respectively mixing together like a gorgeous mimosa, it's a sight to behold. Hold it up to the light, hold it up to your eyes, hold it in your hand, all of it works in a wonderfully aesthetically pleasing sight.

Aromas of freshly cut oranges, graham cracker, green grapes, tangelo, grapefruit, and cracker. Some more vinous notes as well. Very light arm pit aromas if inhaled deeply.

CLEAN. Crispness meets pale malts, followed by juiced orange, grapefruit pith, suggestions of evergreen, pine, cantaloupe, green grape, and a garnish of herb. It's not quite a juice bomb, but close. If you're not a fan of juice bombs, this might the perfect porage for you.

Feel is crisp, clean, effervescent...however you want to describe it, it's just sessionable and still retains some alcohol heat that isn't hindering but rather exciting and reminds you you're alive. Sits like electricity in the belly.

Overall, wow. Just floored. Another fantastic beer from Trillium. I'm not sure if I like this or Summer Street better. My top pick is still Cutting Tiles.

16 oz canned on 8/23. Deep orange, nice head/retention and great lacing. Very strong citrus smell, oranges, mango, pineapple and a little floral. Smooth flavor, there is bitterness but it is met with grassy and citrusy notes. Strong mouthfeel, above average carbonation with a modest aftertaste. This is one of the best I have had from Trillium to date.

Oh, yeah, worth the effort to get.
A block of free time opened up for me, on a Sunday, and I decided (on a whim) to drive 90 minutes east to the Trillium Brewery Canton location....and buy a $100 mixed case, without even having sampled it.
Risky?
No. Trillium lives up to the hype.
By the way, the tap room seemed pretty cool...the crowd looked like my kind of people, and the Trolley Dog food truck looked awesome, but I didn't have time....I had to hit and run.
Anyways, I poured half the can into a flare...I, generally, have a soft pour...so, not much head or lacing. Looked like a glass of orange juice...super hazy, just the way I like it. The second half of the can, I poured harder...and, much foamier and lacier...if that matters (to me, it doesn't).
I don't know enough about malt combinations to get into that...but I like that they offer it up.
And, the hop profile is smart....refreshing to not have Citra hops, for a change.
Altogether, it works very well...smooth, not too bitter, very nice.
Get yourself some, now.

Got a Trillium Brewery recently. A fine brew, but did not quite live up to the hype for me. A bit too undercarbonated, and way too much mango for my liking.

-very cloudy yellow-orange can pour with 1.5 fluff cap. The aroma is bloom of tropical fruit and pine. The flavor is juicy and very full with mango, pineapple, citrus fruit and a resin note. The bitterness is in the background, but noticeable. The aroma-flavor fullness makes this very special.

Purchased from the Fort Point location. None of the cans in my four-pack had canned on dates on the bottom.

Appearance: The body is a light beige color with some dull hues of orange. The head is average sized with a thick, frothy, creamy composition. It leaves spotty lacing on the glass and it has decent retention. It's a good looking beer in the glass.

Aroma: The aroma is very light. There is a light bit of peach and some pineapple. Again the aromas are nice but they are so light that the nose has to hover over the glass for a long time to really pick them up.

Taste: It has a bit of a grassy taste with a bit of mint and lime. While drinking the beer for a while it starts to pick up a bit of under-ripe pineapple flavor. It has a touch of mango in the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Low bitterness. It feels light bodied and a wet finish.

Overall: It's a pretty average tasting IPA. The aromas are nice but very faint. The flavor profile of the beer is pretty good although it is a bit mixed. It's good enough that I would still drink it again but it wouldn't be my first pick of Trillium beers or IPAs in general. I would recommend trying it out.

Poured into a Trillium tulip.

Look is a hazy IPA, juicy with a half inch head that sticks.

Smell is melon, pineapple, and slight pine.

Taste follows the nose. Juicy, hints of pine and a nice pineapple and melon finish.

Mouth feel is medium body with a nice sweet after taste.

Overall another great beer by Trillium. Honesty never had a bad beer from them. I'm always happy to score some cans. Solid.
