Pours hazy, yellowish-tan in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is peach, mango, orange, and light grapefruit rind. Sweet with slight bitterness, medium-light bodied, with moderate carbonation. The Small Bird series is perhaps my favorite of Trillium's lines and this one follows through with their excellence. Great beach beer. I could drink this one all night. Up in the top ten percent of Trillium beers.

Pours a orange yellow haze with thick foam and sticky lacing. Notes of sweet malt, citrus, hops, and pine. The taste is full malty hops with a beautiful sweetness, toss in some dryness and bitter notes and this is one amazing APA. Full light to medium beer, very smooth and clean, another world class Trillium beer.

16oz. can into a Surly teku.

Nose is pretty mellow. A soft hop bitterness with some grapefruit notes. Beer opens bright. Hints of ruby red and citrus with a light, spritzy tartness and a subdued, bark-y hop backbone. Interesting. Drinkable. Body is light with moderate to ample carbonation. Prickly in the mouth and goes down lively and aggressive with a dry aftertaste.

The feel is the best part of this beer. Dry, drinkable and quenching.

The beer pours a light creamy white head that dissipates quickly and leaves some nice lacing. The beer itself is hazy but can you can still see through it. The beer is a lemon yellow with slight hints of orange. The beer smell is very hop forward with slight hints of malt to dull the edge off of a little bit. A mixture of hop smells with grapefruit and a nice lemon tinge to bring it all together. Regarding beer taste, the beer is also hop forward. The strongest flavor is grapefruit with a lemon undercurrent as well. The malt flavor is very light and easily overwhelmed by everything else. The beer has biting carbonation and light bodied but with a little more thickness. The biting carbonation makes the mouthfeel crisp but leaves the mouth a little dry. Overall, a pretty okay beer, the hop variation is nice but it is a little strong.
