From 09/01/15 notes. Big thanks to Brian for sharing this one; thanks man! 750ml bottle poured into a tulip.

Pours a murky brownish-orange with one to two inches of off white head and moderate carbonation evident. Citrus hop, oranges, tropical fruits, fruity malts, pineapple, mango, and light resin. Medium body and low carbonation, no bitterness.

Overall really good; very good nose but awesome taste. Tried this right before Headroom and liked it better due to no bitterness. Hoping they make this one again at OH next time.

750ml bottle, served in a snifter.

Pours a hazy darker yellow-orange body, one finger white head with nice retention time and a fair bit of lacing. Smells of pineapple, tropical fruit, grapefruit, a bit of pine, mild caramel backbone. Lots of hops and a nice complex aromatic hop nose. Dang. Flavour is even better; more of the tropical fruit and pineapple melds in with the caramel malt backbone, then some citrus peeks out, finishing off with a nice pine bitterness. Impressive, and I've come to expect no less from any beer Trillium is involved in making. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, soft, creamy, very easy to drink, mild bitterness and full of pine and grapefruit on the finish. Overall, this is phenomenal and I really enjoyed this one as much as I have the other offerings from Trillium.

Smell: Bursting with fruit: pineapple, orange, mango, grapefruit, some pine needles, a bit of floral. (4.75)

Taste: Lots of orange, pineapple, pine, mango, a hint of cereal, grapefruit. Good amount of sweetness, with little bitterness. Lots of big flavor. (4.75)

Mouth-feel: Medium to full carb with medium to thick body, just a tad sticky. (4.5)

Overall: This is a delicious IPA - tons of fruit - tropical and citrus, along with a bit of pine. The different varieties of hops are showcased really well here, with little else going on. Really nice. Not one for drinking all day because of how much flavor it has, but terrific for a glass or two.

Poured from a bomber into a tulip, the beer is a hazy, opaque, orange-gold coloring with a fluffy, low profile, bubbly, off-white head. Aromas burst forward with citrus notes, orange rind in the forefront. Extremely juicy aromas, balanced by grassy notes, pine tassel and pitch, and subtle pepper spice. The flavors are smooth and balanced, a blend of orange, subtle grapefruit, pine pitch, hints of tropical fruits, grassy notes, and a smooth candi backbone. Robust bodied and damn smooth, but light enough to be extremely drinkable. The aftertaste is very juicy and citrus, those characteristics standing tall throughout every sip. The finish is smooth, slow, and dry. Great beer.

Another solid NE IPA, but it's more reminiscence of a Other Half IPA, rather then a trillium IPA. Good citrus on the nose and taste with some bitterness bite to mellow it out. No mega wow factor that both trillium and other half can make, but a strong solid beer.

Orange, grapefruit and pine. Super dank smelling. Tons of tangerine and grapefruit pith. Classic Trillium biscuit malt background. Creamy mouthfeel, perfect level of sweetness.
