Notes: First brewed to commemorate the grand opening our new facility in Canton, MA. This special pale ale signifies a collective milestone for the entire Trillium team.

A new fermentation profile lends juicier notes and an extra soft mouthfeel. Hazy golden in appearance with a medium body, this refreshing pale ale bursts with aromatics of mango, orange, melon, and a hoppy dankness. Featuring Mosaic/Citra in the dry hop and a crisp Pilsner malt backbone, Launch Beer exhibits graceful flavors of orange, a light lime character, hints of melon, and slight pithiness.

We raise a glass to you; the devoted community of supporters who have helped us make our dream a reality!

MALT: Pilsner, White Wheat, Carapils, C-15, Flaked Oats

Pours a brilliant gold with a hint of tangerine blood underneath a bountiful cloud of rich, fluffy head. Cave pattern drawings fixate the glass through the duration of the enjoyment. It smells like Calvin Broadus and Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum embarked on a world tour -- and this is a good thing, people. Behind all that dank, sticky icky explosion is a gentle wisp of Granny Smith apple belied by myriad grapefruit, orange and tangerine. Good lawd! Taste follows with a complimentary bitterness that is grasped marginally by a bready component. The feel is gentle; caressing me like Mariah Carey's lips in 1997. The balance of citrus and herbal qualities in this offering from Trillium is craftsmanship at its finest. Try this beer!

The beer comes in a hazy medium gold color.

The aroma kicks of huge dank Mosaic qualities, rich green herbs, orange peel, hints of nectarine and fuzzy peach.

The flavor hints of apricot, grapefruit, orange zest, a doughy malt, with hints of sweetness, onto a dank and green herbaceous finish.

Not sure how people haven't noticed that this is a butter bomb. I'm referring and reviewing the first batch released about 4 weeks ago, it seems like they have brewed a second batch which sounds better but man....that first batch sucked.

Beer from the get go smelled like a tub of movie-theater and the taste followed. I understand diacetyl happens but it's too bad that we're seeing some duds as Trilly has never really disappointed.

16oz can, dated 07.22.2019, poured into a Trillium Permutation Series stemmed glass.

The beer pours a very hazy and turbid orange color, light amber hues with a nice white head, about two fingers tall that has moderate retention and yields a small amount of soapy lacing. The aroma is pleasant, blunt green hops, grassy, lightly fruity and floral, very raw and with a bit of pale dough. The flavors are good, raw green overhop flavor leads the way, pleasantly bitter, grassy, piney with some nice orange peel and wildflower character that brightens the beer up while there is a pleasant doughy grain character with a mineral water forward finish. The mouthfeel is good, a heavier medium body, especially for a pale ale, but it's smooth, crisp and coating with a dry finish.

Verdict: A solid pale ale from Trillium. Definitely raw and overhopped as Trillium beers tend to be, but this has a nice and bitter flavor profile that is quite satisfying. A good expression of Columbus but the Mosaic and Citra hops are still able to shine through.

L - bright, lemony yellow. Lively and slightly transluscent. Tad bit milky.

S - lemons on the nose. Mild clementine and yeast. Grassy and natural. Light and fleeting.

T - a more potent lemon peel. Some laundry detergent in the middle. Bold, hoppy flavor interspersed with pine. Pink grapefruit rind juice. Zesty and herbal. Crisp and refreshing!

F - light but soft and smooth. Velvety and drinkable.

O - okay, we're starting a new chapter in our lives by opening a new brewery... let's brew something amazing and memorable. Oh! How about a pale ale!

Thanks to yllib for fresh can.
Almost a squirt cola appearance. Yellow and fizzy. Nice fluffy head with retention.
Refreshing tastes and smells of orange and honeydew melon. Spritzy mouthfeel. Fairly thin as compared to recent hazy ipas I’ve tried.
Insanely crushable. Like an Orangina. Drank can in about 5 drinks.
