Notes / Commercial Description:
This new edition in our “Street” series of India Pale Ales spotlights the remarkably complex Nelson Sauvin hop. Stillings Street is hazy, pale orange in appearance and emits aromatic qualities of kiwi, white grape and lemongrass on the nose. Delicate flavors of citrus zest, pineapple and cantaloupe are accentuated with crisp malt character, mild bitterness, and a soft, effervescent mouthfeel.

MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, Dextrine, Dextrose

HOPS: Nelson Sauvin, Columbus

Canned 12/12/18.
Any time New Zealand hops are involved, especially Nelson, I am pumped! Resinous, citrusy, with massive tropical fruit. Smells and tastes like every other delicious NEIPA and DIPA from Trillium, which means, amazing! Noticeably fruitier than other hops, which is why I love all NZ varietals. Other than that, this style is getting harder to properly review because they all kind of blend into similar flavors due to a limited number of well-known hops imparting a limited quantity of similar flavors. Then again, I’m no cicerone!

Canned 13 days ago.

L -- Hazy pale orange body with two fingers of fairly dense white head produced with moderate pour. Good retention and lacing, which is fairly unusual for this brewery imo
S -- White grape, concord grape, musty basement, peach, pineapple, blueberry
T -- Honeydew melon, red grape, orange zest, clementine flesh, hint of basil-ish garden herbs. Somewhat sweeter than most Street series IPAs I've had from Trillium
F -- Medium mouthfeel, medium carb. Usual restrained bitterness on the finish
O -- DDH version is noticeably better on this variant, but it's hard to go wrong with offerings from this series

This beer was provided as a bonus with a trade. It is quite similar to Transient's Flightless, but with a slightly better feel. It is much better than ANY of Old Nation's IPAs, which means it is only mediocre for Trillium. This being said, I can usually only drink IPAs under a month old because the drop in taste becomes obvious for me.

Pours a beautiful orange yellow but very little head.

Smell is very hoppy, citra and Mosaic? Smell is juicy.

Taste is tropical fruit and a citra base. A bit bitter but balanced fairly well.

The bitter builds a little bit still enjoyable throughout

Very nice beer. Would love to have more of this.

Hazy lemon drop/orange juice color with a furry, creamy, thick head of 2 fingers. Lots of lace behind.

Fruity aromas of grapefruit and orange peel, with a firm but quiet herbal bitterness, quite a bit of mandarin orange, and some faint pineapple notes.

A firm woody bitterness starts out the profile, but fades off into some leafy plant, then grapefruit rind, mandarin orange, sage, and orange julius/orange creamsickle. Very clean flavors.

Feel is full of spikey carbonation, followed by a tight creaminess, and then a very resinous finish.

Overall, another very good offering from Trillium. Glad I have a couple more cans to enjoy.
