Cutting Tiles is an exploratory series of Double IPA's featuring a range of aromatic single hop varietals brewed with raw wildflower honey. This new version is dosed with 100% Citra in all kettle, whirlpool and two massive dry hop additions. The local wildflower honey keeps the body light and drinkable but provides a earthy backbone. Floral and zesty up front backed up with a nuanced citrus character on the nose that continues straight through in the flavor profile. Pillowy soft mouthfeel, with a restrained bitterness on the finish. New variants to follow!

On fire like fire. Speak to me. Speak to me like I am the first one that had a voice. I’m in this moment. A “moment.” Dream of tomorrow while living today. Is it all about today?

11/9/23 On tap at The House of Brews.
Aromas of apricot, honey and lily. Very floral and sweet smelling.
The taste follows. It's sweet, smooth in the mouth, nice little treat you want to drink slowly and enjoy.

Picked up a 16oz single from the Appalachian Vintner 10-19-23 for $8.49. Canned 9-25-23; consumed 11-4-23. Cold stored since purchase.
Beer poured a hazy golden orange with an okay white head.
Nose is very nice, nothing but full on fresh citrus and tropical fruit.
Taste is a light but substantial pale malt base that displays the citra hops expertly. Getting full on juicy fruit mango, orange, and passion fruit that is nicely balanced by ample hopping to cut away the sweetness; 6/10 on my bitterness scale.
Mouthfeel is wonderfully light and very refreshing. Hard to believe this is a 8.5% abv beer.
Overall another wonderful IPA from Trillium. They are expensive but it is nice to have a special treat on occasion!
