Our very first IPA brewed back in 2013 was eponymously named after the street we called home: Congress Street. Its success inspired an entire series of beers, each of which used the same base recipe featuring a different dry hop presenting a unique flavor with common ties. Naming each one of these beers after separate streets in the Fort Point created a unique bond to the neighborhood we are proud to call home. Even as we grow and explore, the Street Series will always have a special connection to our roots.

The culmination of all our Street beers over the past years, The Streets is a Triple IPA brewed to celebrate our anniversary. Using the same base recipe and bumping the ABV up to 10.6%, we dry hopped with Amarillo, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, Simcoe, Nelson, Vic Secret, & Enigma. Additionally, as a nod to the neighborhood, we also added Citra to the dry hop this year, the signature hop used for our Fort Point Pale Ale

Heavily hazy and orange in appearance, The Street offers a nose rich with aromas of candied peach, tropical fruit, lime zest, pineapple and melon rind. These notes extend right through to the palate with complimentary flavors ripe apricot, orange peel, and white wine. Subtly sweet with a balancing floral bitterness, The Street has a creamy and smooth mouthfeel that rounds out this drinkable Triple IPA.

Very nice orange color, a nice bright finger of white head. Aroma is pineapple, mango, and other fruity goodness.. Taste follows the nose.. Very complex, layered taste. It took me on a few turns, especially as it warmed up and the hops came out a bit more. Awesome mouthfeel, perfect carbonation. Teeny bit of alcohol on the back end (probably cause I was looking for it at 10% ABV). If you blindfolded me and asked me the ABV on this one I might have said 8.2%... It is insane how well hidden the alcohol is on this beer. at 10% though you will want to take your time - I was definitely feeling good after a can. I am going to be very sad once my Streets are empty. Do what you need to do to acquire this one, and make sure you do not miss this one.. it is worth it.

Canned 3/13/24. Pour is beautiful with a thin lingering head. Flavors are full and vibrant, but the 5-day old can also carries a hint of hop burn. Body is full. Never too sweet, never too dry, never too bitter. Excellent.

Canned 3.14.23, open ended 3.31.23, poured into a new pretentious beer glass

Hazy orange marmalade liquid, dense two finger off white foam cap , spotty lacings, settles to a ring

Aroma is juicy tropical fruits, peach ,

Taste is incredible. Citrus, tropical fruits, peach, apricot, wine

This is a 10% abv? Smooth , soft , creamy

Exceptional beer, highly recommended, repeatable

2 months old. Can to tumbler.

Look: Pours a full and hazy yellow with some large-pored foam that dissipates quickly without leaving any lacing. No floaters.

Smell: Candied citrus fruits (mainly tangerine, lemon and grapefruit) paired with fresh tropical notes. White grapes and some grassy hints are also there.

Taste: Citrusy body with notes of candied lemon, grapefruit and blood orange. Fresh pineapple and white grapes. Grassy and floral. Medium sweetness and strong zestiness followed by a very bitter finish.

Feel: Full and juicy with a strong hop burn. Low to medium carbonation.

Overall: Probably my favorite Trillium brew up to now. It’s not overly sweet, but sweet enough to nicely balance out the sharp and bitter notes that are so typical for most Trillium IPAs. Even though some of the brewery‘s notorious flaws (no head, no lacing, low carbonation) also apply to The Streets, it is a great beer, both drinkable and complex at the same time.

Taking a walk down Memory Lane is often needed to find satisfaction about our deeds done well, but for Trillium brewers, its an opportunity to gain inspiration for their anniversary beer. Their streets have inspired them to make world class hazy ales, so to commemorate their journey, they just make a beer with all those streets in mind.

Chocked full of Amarillo, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, Simcoe, Nelson, Vic Secret and Enigma hopse, The Streets pours with a milky light taupe, matte in its finish and pastel in its sheen, and then topped with a creamy ivory meringue. A plethora of fruity hop impressions rise to greet the nose with creamy citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit, melon, berry and wine. Such a cornucopia of scents translate to a creamy sweet early taste of cereal, honey and light pastry breadiness.

The hops gain complete control of the session as they overcome the stern malts with a high taste of all-things orange, apricot, mango, cantaloup and papaya. Such a fruit cocktail in taste, everything from grapefruit and lime, to nectarine and grape, and then to lemon and passionfruit, the fruit flavors seem endless. All wrapped in a spicy and herbal balance, a taste of peppery grasses, gin-like botanicals and light hemp all frame a creamy green tea finish with fresh spruce, fruit peels and grass clippings behind.

Full bodied, plump and finishing bitter sweet, The Streets is a culmination of beer that steers in all directions at once. Its a highly flavorful beer that meanders sometimes without direction, lingering in a bitter and spicy cereal display that labors the palate near the end.

Pours a cloudy yellow-orange color with a medium bodied white colored head that is kinda airy and laces little as it fades. Smells of melon, mango, citrus, and hint of toasted malts. It tastes of citrus and melon with a bit of toasted malts mixed in there. It's smooth, kind of warming, carbonated nicely for the style. Another banger from Trillium!

Pours milky orange in color with a white head that slowly fades to the side of the glass while caressing the edges ever so slightly. The nose is very much citrusy, likened it to orange juice. Taste is very similar to Ghost in the machine ans is that good if not better. Superb NE Style IPA

Poured from a can dated 3/18/22
Yields a hazy orange color m, thin head light lacing and spotty cap

Aroma is overripe peach, pineapple, hint of lime, apricot and cantaloupe

Taste is tropical and juicy, peach and bitter lime are pronounced, floral notes and apricot with a kind of lingering green grape finish

Mouthfeel is soft and sticky up front, chewy and thick, slightly lingering astringent finish. Some bit is noticeable with a prickly carbonation feel through out. No alcohol burn detected

Overall it’s kind of heavy, almost like drinking grapefruit juice, it is creamy up front but ends with a fairly bitter fruit rind finish. Hides the abv very well.
