We're so excited about our future Fort Point expansion that we had to make a new beer! Farnsworth Street IPA is the latest addition to our Street series of IPA's. With the same base recipe as our other street beers, we dosed Farnsworth with a new (to Trillium) hop: Vic Secret. Melon, orange, and a hint of zesty pine on the nose are followed by crisp, palatable flavors of orange creamsicle, pineapple, and cantaloupe. A dry finish and moderate carbonation round out Farnsworth Street. Cheers to our Fort Point roots and continuing to grow them...this is one of many fun updates to come!
MALT: American 2-row Barley, White Wheat, C-15, Dextrine, Dextrose

Growler filled yesterday. To be honest, I only got it because of the name, Hubert st.
Pours a nice creamy rich fluffy 1 finger head that fades at a slow pace, lots of lacing, super murky peach apricot color.
Nose a bit of dank tropical notes, citrus, orange cream, pith and pulp, a touch of pineapple and mango sorbet, papaya and melon notes as well but mostly rind,
Taste starts with creamy malts, an almost vanilla like wheat and oat juice thing, vanilla orange juice, creamy orange pulp and a little pith, no idea where that vanilla comes from but there's quite a bit of it, some melon but specifically cantaloupe and tangerine juice, juicy and creamy, some wheat and oat mash a bit of a weird papery almost flour thing going on too, faint tropical notes with pineapple juice and mango sorbet again, fair to mild bitterness, drier finish with lots more vanilla, orange cream, and cantaloupe lingering.
Mouth is med bod, nice fluffy carb for a growler which is sad (not for this beer) because the growler of Galaxy Free Rise was filled right next to it and had almost no carb, no booze.
Overall a nice and interesting IPA, NEIPA for sure, light pineapple, citrus, a lot of creamsicle and strangely vanilla all over, sorbet flavors as well, so a fun IPA that I could drink quite a bit of if I came across the cans.

Pours a deep orange gold color with a 2 finger dense head that settles quickly. The aroma has pungent notes of sweet papaya and orange as well as lime - it is a tad sharp with some musty notes at first. The taste is similar with the solid sweet citrus forming up front, then slowly fading away to leave the more bitter lime and orange zest notes. The finish does regain some nice orange notes, like if you just ate an orange wedge a minute ago. Very nice. There is a touch of cracker in there too, but this is a hop-forward beer by a mile. The feel is very soft and thick, more so than a typical NEIPA. moderate carbonation and a touch of alcohol round it off.
This is a great offering in the series. Full flavor and substance make it a powerhouse. I would definitely grab this one again over many other IPAs from Trillium,

Yum yum yum yum yum yum yum. This and Pittsburgh St. (harder to come by most of the time) have Trillium's best flavor profiles, with the Fonz a little more balanced, maybe.

Over ripe, dark lemon yellow in color with a milky appearance. Poured with a moderate, creamy white foam with excellent retention. Mellow aromas of fruity lemon and melon with hints of strawberry and malt. Medium bodied with medium carbonatio and a chewy, creamy smooth feel. Citrus and lemon flavors up front followed by sweet melon. Pine hop flavors then transition into medium hop bitterness through the middle. Boozy warmth with fruity melon and pine notes to the end. Finished with a boozy bite with underlying fruity notes and a lingering pine hop bitterness. Great look and feel. Aromas are subdued yet fabulous. Moderate bitterness and pine hop character nicely balances the sweet and fruity malt and hop flavors.

Pours cloudy gold color with a massive 3 finger foamy eggshell colored head that was full of bubbles and resembling a fine bubble bath. The beer went down slowly and left excellent spotty foamy lacing all over in a camouflage pattern.
The nose is weak for a Trillium IPA, but that's likely the result of this can being a few month old. While it didn't effect the looks it certainly subdued the aroma. I get some tropical notes, orange peel, melon, faint grapefruit and other mixed citrus hops. Late additions of caramel or graham cracker help it come off sweet yet balanced.
Thankfully the flavor has more orange juice, tangerine and citrus fruit complexities to it, along with most of the descriptions listed in the nose. I love Trillium IPA's so I'll seek out a fresh can from the next release so I can review this brew as it's meant to be consumed.
