For our first ever collaboration with Cloudwater Brew Co. we present High Fashion Double IPA, inspired by Paul's (co-founder of Cloudwater) immaculate taste in footwear. He artfully melds comfort, warmth, and sheer style when he rocks socks with sandals. Not many can pull off such a brazen look... but Paul is not your average sandal wearer.
High Fashion is a punchy Double IPA with a light-medium body and bright golden hue. A pungent nose explodes with bright citrus, hints of floral honey, coconut and orange juice from an extra heavy dry hop of more than 6#/bbl. A colorful palate of lemon, pineapple, grapefruit rind, with a lingering, dry finish.
MALT: UK Pale Malt, Malted Oats, Dextrose
HOPS: Citra, Mosaic, Experimental Hop Variety

Looks like orange juice. Even down to the thin, bubbly air pockets of head on top.
I smell oranges, wheat dust, hints of ruby reds, pilsner malt, stale white bread, and alcohol.
Flavor is very hot, may be the hottest Trillium yet. Grainy alcohol, cotton candy, pine, grapefruit peel, orange peel, lemon peel, resin, slight rubber, slight diesel.
Feel is hot, hot, and more hot. Lingering resins, and a sharp bite.
Overall, a bit overboard on both the bitterness and heat, but not all Trilliums can be juice bombs.

Can poured into snifter.
Yellow tinted straw tan with deep haze. Slight foamy head settles fast into small islands of foam.
Lemon zest, orange flesh and some tropical fruit in the aroma with a backing of earthy resins.
Flavor is citrus up front with a bit of grain, herbal spice and tropical fruit.
Moderate carbonation and medium body.
Big hop flavors balanced with a bit of grain and even bitterness.

Canned 10-12-17.
Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch white head over a murky yellowish body with some scant lacing at first. Head and lacing are gone in a couple minutes. Nose of tropical fruit, lemon, and orange. Taste of pineapple, orange, and other citrus with a fairly crisp, bitter, and dry finish. Okay feel and overall, pluses for smell and flavor, minuses for look and feel. A juicehead's delight!
