Notes / Commercial Description:
Paying homage to Fort Point's manufacturing history, Pittsburgh Street IPA is the most recent addition to our Street series of IPA's. Pittsburgh Street is now known as Thomson Place, named after the Thomson Reuters media firm when they bought the Boston Wharf Company brick and beam building. Pittsburgh Street was originally named after the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company.
The signature hop in Pittsburgh is Enigma which drives papaya, cantaloupe, and floral aromas on the nose and are followed by a crisp palate featuring flavors of pineapple and zesty citrus.

A:
Pours a cloudy straw that glows orange a little with a tight finger or so of soapy white head. Ok retention; some lacing. (4)

S:
Guava, pineapple, a little mint, candied orange peel. (4.25)

T:
Cantaloupe, lime, grass (both kinds), sugar cookie malt, green grapes, herbal "bitter"ness. (4.5)

M:
Medium body, soft feeling with medium carbonation and a fruity and slight herbal finish. (4.25)

O:
Good IPA.
It pours like a Trillium beer sure enough. Goldish with an okay head that pretty well dissipates. The aroma and flavor both have a fruity and an earthy side to the hops. There is some nice citrus oil bitterness with green cantaloupe, lime zest, a little minty zip and a touch of clean malt. (4.25)

Pours hazy, orange-gold in color with 3/4 inch head. Taste is big melon, pineapple, gewurztraminer wine, and cracker. Medium light bodied, sweet, with moderate carbonation...Gentle yet a juicy beer that seems different from other streets..Worthy of the street name. Need to get more cans of this.

Canned on 03/07/18, 10:08:27.

Pours a nice hazy orange, got a very juicy presence. Nice frothy white head with some good lace retention around the glass.

Tons of citrus and mango on the nose. Awesome aromas with no noticeable bitterness or earthy, hoppy presence.

Hits with more tropical fruits and citrus right away. The hops are there, but not overpowering. Finishes slightly bitter and dies off just a tad soon for me, but the profile on this is awesome.

Nice body, low effervescent carb, juicy. Slightly sticky finish. Great.

Pours an opaque, bright and rich gold color. One finger soapy off-white head that laces in nice bug clumps and streaks

Aroma is very pungent with a blend of sweet tropical fruit like mango and melon mixed with a distinctive piquant scent that I can't quite put a finger on.

Taste is the nice sweet melon tones up front that quickly succumb to that other flavor that some here describe as smoky - but its more than that. There is a bit of pepper in there too in the finish. Malt is out of the way and it is a little more seltzery than the average IPA.

Feel is very soft and creamy. They have really perfected this style's feel.

Overall a great selection. That odd flavor is a bit off-putting but lends to the distinctive flavor of this beer. Not my favorite from Trillium but it really is a superior crafted beer all around.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy orange. Smells of tingly citrus and melons. Tastes a shade less dynamic. Orange and some tropical fruit. Citrus bitterness in the back end. Tingly citrus all the way through. Medium body. Excellent.

Diacetyl bomb was the last batch. Inappropriate to serve this to people. I can only rate what I taste.

I didn't love this one it had a metallic taste in the finish, possibly my least favorite street beer, I had tried it at the beer garden and fresh canned for comparison both similar
