A: The beer is clear dark reddish purple in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short off white (almost pink) head that left a large patch of bubbles on the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of blueberries are present in the nose along with hints of cranberries.
T: The taste follows the smell, but is more complex, having flavors of blueberries along with notes of cranberries and hints of black cherries. There is a sight amount of sourness.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and slightly tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is nice and fruity and showcases the blueberries—it isn't nearly as sour compared to some of the other beers in the style.

sometimes fruit beer in the fall is weird, like its hanging on too long to summer or something, but this seems to perfectly autumnal to me, easily the least acidic of the fated farmer series beers i have had, and sort of less complex as such, but in a good way. cool stained glass violet brightness to the color here, really pretty from the tap and with nice carbonation giving it some pink head. it smells like blueberry jam, sort of cooked down and concentrated, but very natural still as well. i do get some fall spice notes to it from the oak which is cook with the fruit, definitely a baked dessert vibe, but the beer isnt sweet surprisingly. the berries are natural and simple in here, and there are a lot of them. some cool vinous character, a little pop of sugar and other berries in the middle, and then a nice funk that has some tang but is not close to the caustic sourness i recall from some of the others. delicious, fresh tasting, and a great expression of the blueberries. i kind of like the subtler fermentation profile of this one, maybe somewhat less obviously trillium, but its not their sours that have impressed me the most anyway...

Poured from a 750mL bottle into a Trillium Fated Farmer wine glass.

Pours a lightly hazy maroon body with a pink two finger head that reduces slowly to leave a good amount of retention and nice lacing - very nice looking beer, nice color and head.

Aromas are tart and lactic with tart blueberry aromas, fruit skins, lightly funky and juicy, vanilla and light maltyness shines through.

On the tongue it's pretty tart with tannic blueberries, drying berries, lightly oaky and lactic acidity comes through a lot, earthy and vinous with a lightly astringent aftertaste. Medium high carb, easy dinker and quite refreshing without being overly sour.

An overall nice beer, I think I like a few other of the fated farmers better but this one is solid.

Pours a bright vibrant ruby red with a thin fizzy rose head. Nose is of berries and yogurt like funk. Taste of cherries and blueberries with light wood and spices. Juice like. Very tart and high carbonation. A bit of a pucker with this one tho it is good. Light to medium body with a tart sour finish. Side by side with Jester King Colour Five and while Fated Farmer Blueberry was very good I preferred the tamer/rustic appeal of Colour Five a tad bit more.
