The addition of fresh blueberries sourced from Ward's Berry Farm in nearby Sharon, Massachusetts create a beautiful crimson/purple hue. Aromas of dark cherries, blueberry, and an earthy funk give way to a tart blueberry palate teeming with notes of nutmeg and mulled cranberries.

Pours a clear raspberry and amber color with visible carbonation. A small half a fingernail length head nevertheless retains well.
The nose opens very funky and oaky. Aromas of blueberry are accompanied by floral spices, sourdough bread, wheat, green apples and white wine vinegar.
Very sour with notes of tart blueberry, sourdough bread, lemon, sour green apples and tart white grapes. Very rustic and funky with a very dry palate and notes of spicy oak, floral spices and dry cider.
Medium bodied with a very acidic mouthfeel. The finish is very tart and bone dry. The carbonation is moderate.
Fantastic Wild Ale! Very sour and complex; not for the faint of heart. I would have again.

Pours a cloudy grape color, ample light purple foamy head that fades quickly. Big funky, earthy aroma with faint blueberry. Flavor is funky, earthy blueberry. Has a nice tartness to it that is well balanced by a gentle sweetness. Carbonation is appropriate. Has great acidity, mouthwatering. Overall a really nice, proper wild ale.

Bottle: Poured a dirty amber color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of sour notes with light blueberry notes is OK. Taste is a good mix of sour notes with some light blueberry notes with a good amount of acidity. Body is somewhat full with good carbonation. Overly sour and acid which limits the ability to taste flavours.

750 poured into 11oz tulip. Poured a dark reddish brown color with just a thin cap of pink head that quickly dissipated and left no lacing.

A nice tart scent burst from the bottle, followed by nice blueberry aromas, and a light grain base underneath.

The flavors were the same, just bolder and brighter.

The body was the expected, and typical, thin that carried nice tartness throughout, and had a dry finish.

Drinkability was great, i could easily drink more of these, if available to me. Overall, a very nice beer, a must-try if you see it.

L - 2-finger pink head rapidly recedes, leaving behind a translucent maroon body.

S - strong blueberry. Honey, citrus, vinegar.

T - acidic blueberry jam. Orange, oak, vinegar, mixed berries, funk. Very tart and moderately sour. No bitterness. Low sweetness. No booziness.

F - medium body and carb.

O - as good as I had hoped it might be.
