Notes / Commercial Description:
Our very first IPA brewed back in 2013 was eponymously named after the street we called home: Congress Street. Its success inspired an entire series of beers, each of which used the same base recipe featuring a different dry hop presenting a unique flavor with common ties. Naming each one of these beers after separate streets in the Fort Point created a unique bond to the neighborhood we are proud to call home. Even as we grow and explore, the Street Series will always have a special connection to our roots.

The culmination of all our Street beers over the past 6 years, The Streets is a Triple IPA brewed to celebrate our anniversary. Using the same base recipe and bumping the ABV up to 10.6%, we dry hopped with Amarillo, Mosaic, Galaxy, El Dorado, Simcoe, Nelson, Vic Secret, & Enigma. Additionally, as a nod to the neighborhood, we also added Citra to the dry hop this year, the signature hop used for our Fort Point Pale Ale

Heavily hazy and orange in appearance, The Street offers a nose rich with aromas of candied peach, tropical fruit, lime zest, pineapple and melon rind. These notes extend right through to the palate with complimentary flavors ripe apricot, orange peel, and white wine. Subtly sweet with a balancing floral bitterness, The Street has a creamy and smooth mouthfeel that rounds out this drinkable Triple IPA.

16 oz can traded from egrandfield, dated 3/19/19 poured into Rogue IPA glass.

The deepest, murkiest pour I've seen in awhile. Love it. Tall, fluffy, creamy cap of white standing about 3 fingers, receding to 1 and leaving tons of creamy lace behind.

Aroma brings a lot of alcohol heat, but more importantly - tons of juicy citrus fruit - grapefruits, oranges, sweet lemon juice and tangerine; some pineapple and mango and papaya; slight dank stickiness.

Flavor is just huge - tons of papaya and mango with following fruits of grapefruit, tangerine, and orange. My can has a bit more alcohol heat than I'd like, it burns the flavors a bit; it finishes on grass and lime.

Feel is juicy with spikey carbonation that dances around and stabs the tongue and forms into a nice popping creaminess on the back. Lots of alcohol heat. Moderate resins on the finish.

Overall, if they can hide the heat a little better, this beer would be in my top 20 easily. Really good stuff, amazing as always from Trillium. Really glad I got to try this.

I was blown away by last year's edition and possibly even more so this time around.

A perfect example of how to balance all of the complexities of so many hops. The ABV has no impact on how smooth and drinkable this beer is.

The look is perfect, dark orange juice.

The smell is a rich blend of many candy citrus and tart fruit notes. Orange, grapefruit, peach, mango, pineapple, apricot and more. Throw any citrus forward fruit in here.

Taste is so well balanced and the flavors all blend perfectly. Same notes on the smell with also some white grape and a bit of white onion bitterness. Hops linger on the back end for a very nice aftertaste that still has some citrus notes of orange, apricot and grapefruit.

A stellar beer all around and one that any neipa fan should acquire. Go try it!

ASMR feelings in head and spine when I drank this (not just tingling sensation, but a cascading release of dopamine)...I think that speaks for itself. This is undoubtedly the best beer I have ever had. Canned on March 18th; drank on March 18th.
