Notes: Daily Serving was born out of our desire to express intense, saturated fruit character in beer form. After thoughtful experimentation with Permutation 6.47 and 6.51, we found that the German Berliner Weisse style, with its delicate, yet fluffy mouthfeel and even-keeled acidity is the perfect foundation for robust fruit additions.

The mid-Spring rendition of our Daily Serving lineup features a bright bouquet of all the berries (and one stone fruit)! Brewed with raspberry, boysenberry, blackberry, black currant, cherry, strawberry, and blueberry, Daily Serving: Mixed Berry presents a lovely deep magenta with a heavy haze. The nose is packed with jam-like aromas. Notes of blackberry preserves, blue raspberry Jolly Rancher, and strawberry lemonade delight throughout. Medium-bodied, soft on the palate, and just a touch sweet, Daily Serving: Mixed Berry is easy to love.

Drank from a 1 pint can purchased at Trillium Brewing Company, Boston, MA
Served in a Rastal Harmony stemless beer glass

Fantastic appearance. The completely opaque, oxblood hued body was topped by a fluffy, finger-tall, light pink crown that dropped to a thin collar. Some streaky lacing stuck along the back portion of the glass.

The aroma was outstanding. Raspberry dominated. Freshly puréed raspberries came to mind. Super jammy and sweet. Some blueberry appeared as the beer warmed. Touch of blackberry too.

Raspberry notes again came through strongest in the flavor. Amazingly fresh and bright. Blackberry was also noticeable. Some blueberry as well. Tart wheaty, lemony notes appeared in the center. Cranberry was detectable on the back end. Hint of berry seed-like bitterness and acidity in the finish.

Nice frothy, medium bodied mouthfeel. The liquid contained a moderate effervescence that fluffed up nicely on the palate.

As its name suggests, Daily Serving Mixed Berry is an incredibly berry forward, and overall really enjoyable, fruited Berliner Weisse. While the original raspberry release is still my favorite, this comes in a close second.

Bought four cans, as part of a mixed case, delivered to me. My twelfth brew from these guys. This is not at all my style of beer, but this does taste pretty good. Reminds me more of a wine cooler.

Canned 5/13/20, bought from the brewery

Well for my first trip up to Trillium, I’m sad that it had to be curbside pickup, but at least they’re still open. This is review #200 for me as well!!

Pours a completely opaque purple with a finger of pink head that fades at a decent pace and leaves minimal lacing

This is brewed with a fuck ton of berries, but what jumps out at me primarily is cherry and raspberry, with lighter notes of strawberry and lemon, mildly floral

This starts off lightly tart with notes of jammy strawberry, blueberry, and raspberry. The end of the sip shifts to a more subtle pear character with mild lemon acidity

This has a chewy feel but drinks very light from the subtle tartness and carbonation, finishes quite sticky

Obviously this is not very beer like, but how many modern Berliners really are? This is absolutely over the top, but is super drinkable at 3.6%. Incredible for warm weather, kudos Trillium

Pours opaque purple magenta with a frothy pink foam head. Smells like fruit punch, jammy fruit puree, berry smoothie, cherry, berries, wheat malt, with floral earthy grassy hops. Tastes like jello, fruit punch, jammy fruit puree, blue raspberry, berry smoothie, cherries, berries, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, boysenberry, black currant, strawberry, mild wheaty malt, with floral earthy grassy hops. Feels medium plus bodied, soft and creamy with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice mixed berry Berliner Weisse style ale.

Review #1 - Trillium Daily Serving Mixed Berry

Canned 5-13-2020 - Opened 5-16-2020, poured into the first appropriate vessel I could find (a pint glass)
Acccording to the label picture, this contains raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, boysenberries, currants, and cherries! Can't wait to taste this one.

L - Pours a ruby red, a bit darker than cranberry and cloudier. It left a 1/2" pinkish-plumish head, which is delicious in its own right.

S - Closest smell familiar to me is the bowl of fresh, native strawberries all mashed up and ready for a New England Church Supper. Divine aroma.

F - Akin to the mixed berry fruit punch (heavy on the red berries) at the same church supper, but better. It is not at all cloying or heavy.

T - It's fun taking small sips and savoring them, attempting to taste each fruit pictured on the can. It is so easy to forget you're drinking beer. Naturally sweet, like biting into a strawberry you just picked.

O - Outstanding, as long as you're expecting a fruity delight rather than a fine beer. Everything about the beer drew us in and we were not disappointed. Another winner from Trillium.

This may sound sacrilegious, but to enjoy all the flavors I've let the can warm to about 50F and poured this over two ice cubes. It's my beer and I'll do what I want. Seriously, this is good stuff.
