Good bar pour head that lasts a long time. Interestingly, nearly no lace. Cloudy, yellow gold color.
Floral, pine aroma of fresh hop.
Bitter, but not as pronounced as their flagship, Fort Point. I think that makes this a less extreme beer. Don't misinterpret, this is still a hop head beer--very bitter. The finish has an earthy background. Long lasting aftertaste of white pepper. Rich body with lower level of carbonation.
