Nice sweet grainy, malty aroma....cornbread....

Taste brings in a little of lemony hop spritz on the finish and adds a slight puckering effect...grungy notes as well

Light bodied...

A bit grungy for a lager...It's drinkable but the more I work my way through this sicer the more I know I wouldn't buy it again. Final impression not as strong as first impression of the six-pack enjoyed over the course of a week.

Poured from a 12 oz. can into a chalice.

Appearance: Pours a hazy yellow golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Solid finger of white head that settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A crisp, bready, and grainy malt driven aroma with hints of grains and cracker. Barley malt with hints of grains, cracker, cereal, corn, biscuit, and yeast. Hop presence is pretty subtle. A decent simple light lager aroma.

Taste: Like the nose indicates, a bready and grainy malt dominated lager taste with lots of cracker and grains. Barley malt with upfront notes of cereal grains, cracker, corn, biscuit, and yeast. Light background notes of earthy hops. A decent taste.

Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Crisp and smooth with a fairly drying finish.

Overall: A decent take on the light lager style. Simple and to the point with a crisp grainy taste.

Pale yellow brew with a white foam that laces up. Smell is faintly grain, yeast, lemon zest. Taste has crackers and grain, light lemon, bitter and a little metallic. Crisp medium mouthfeel. Light mildly bitter dry finish. This strikes me as an subtly enhanced macro lager. Clearly the quintessential session hot summer day lawn mowing drink.. I'd drink it again but I suspect it's too spendy for what it is. On tap at OC for their Beach Bonfire mini tour.

This beer pours a pale yellow with a voluminous fizzy head. Retention is good but not excellent. The aroma is primarily doughy and yeasty, with detectable scents of sour dough bread, lemon peel, sugar, and something vaguely grassy. The flavor offers a slightly richer bread flavor with just a hint of dough, corn, lemon, and cedar. The feel is light with a touch of creaminess from the carbonation. Overall this is a nice, flavorful lager. It is nothing sensational, but it is very pleasant.

On tap at My Burger on UofM campus
Smallish head that settled out quickly. Largely yellow and not particularly clear.
Minimal aroma. Clean drinking with a clear hop taste and quick hit of bitterness. Clear grainy malt character that was the most prominent flavor, that I kinda' liked.
The hops clashed a bit with my food, but otherwise this worked well for me. Moderately carbonated.
Nothing stellar, but nothing bad either. Solid drinker.
