Served from tap into a shaker. Poured a hazy golden yellow with a one finger white head that subsided to a minimal amount quickly. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, citrus, wheat, grain, and lemon zest. The flavor was of sweet malt, wheat, lemon zest, citrus, and subtle spice. It had a light feel on the palate with high carbonation. Overall this was a pretty decent brew. I really went into this one blind and not knowing what to expect. I was really surprised to find that this was a Witbier upon inspection. There was a nice citrus note that hung around in this one that definitely made it quite intriguing to the palate. Just about everything else going on in it were typical for the style, but executed fairly well. Can't wait to get the chance to try some new stuff from this new South Carolina brewery in the future. Tick.
