This bold, Imperial Red will light up your nose and let you enjoy a season of reindeer games. The hint of cinnamon in the finish will add another spike to your antlers.

Rudolph's red has a delicious ale taste with a smooth cinnamon finish. The only downside is a lingering after taste that feels heavy. However, that after taste is fixed by just taking another sip! Very delicious.

Not sure if I got a bad batch or what but it tasted like a cross between stagnant water and cleaning chemicals horrible not like the original

I'm sort of cautious with winter style beers. The cinnamon or ginger spice can go off the rails real easy. This beer gets the proportions right. Hearty gingery smell and taste. Wonderful around the fire or Christmas tree.

Can to Snifter.
LOOK: Color is amber/orange. Translucent. White head, sticks around awhile.
AROMA: Stale hops come first, but later are some spicy notes, cinnamon, sage. A little cherry as well.
TASTE: Ash, dry hops, apple, allspice, fruitcake. Cherry comes late again. Alcohol kick hits late as well.
FEEL: Decent carbonation. Thin body.
Not bad. Better than I would have thought.

Poured into a custom shaped glass: color is amber, a little hazy/dense looking, strong carbonation, light tan head that presents 1/4 inch thick after pour and dissipates to a ring, no lacing.
Smell is light spice (ginger, cinnamon) and then backed by some malt, caramel, biscuit.
Taste is similar with a spicy punch at first, backed by moderate malt character, more toffee/bready like flavors noted. Flavor leans on the edge of a gingerbread cookie, but the malt and spice hide the ABV well.
Mouthfeel is a little sweet, not cloying, then the lingering quality is a bit sharp/dry.
Overall an interesting beer - simple spice profile, deeper taste with hidden abv, and sharper mouthfeel.

Enjoyed January 6, 2016 from a 2015 can in a snifter.
Look - Murky red with a brown tint. Head is lighter tan and settles to a ring. Blotchy lacing.
Smell - Ginger. Cinnamon. Brown sugar.
Taste - Gingerbread. Brown sugar. Caramel.
Feel - Smooth. Carbonation is not overpowering. Sweetness sticks to the tongue.
Overall - Gingerbread brown sugar. Lighter at 8.1% compared to Mad Elf and Pimp My Sleigh with a lot of flavor.
