Andrew Maxwell put over 1.5 decades of recipe development into this India Pale Ale, creating the fourth dimension of flavor. Combining four varities of hops produces a unique beer that has an aggressive hop flavor, bite and aroma without denying the presence of malt which I.P.A.s often lack.

A: A nice dark copper color with some amber twinges. Provides a nice off-white foam head with more than sufficient lacing.
S: Although a tad mild, there are definite scents of hops with some bready and caramel malt.
T: For me, this was a beer that really came through on taste. Ample amounts of hop flavor that is balanced nicely with the caramel malts.
M: Leaves a lingering bitterness on the palate.
D: I find this easy to drink. The ABV is only 6.2% so I could enjoy several of these easily in a sitting.

A middling IPA - worth a try but probably not one you'll return too. Aggressive hop profile but a recognizable malt presence. This one has a bit more of an earthy tone to it. An orange brown color, with the earthy aroma coming through.

Went back to this style and really found i missed the east coat ipa. Big bitter cut with really sweet malt. Still looking for that hop presence but really enjoyed it vs the ne ipa

Poured into a custom shaped grip glass: color is amber, transparent, head is light tan with a very dense texture and presentation of at least 1 inch; head laces well.
Smell is neutral hops and light toasted malts: hops are earthy, herbal; malts are less noticeable in terms of aroma.
Taste is similar with a neutral grain flavor and herbal, earthy hop mix - simple, drinkable.
Mouthfeel is moderate with crisp carbonation and moderate bitterness.
Overall a good more herbal, earthy style ipa.

It has the aroma more of a wheat beer than an ipa, with cloves and just a very bland hop aroma in the background. It has more of a citra hop bend to it, but I got a spoiled mango / tropical fruit flavor going on with it. Something was off with this one for sure.
