Look: Very dark brown, almost black. Very thin tan head, as expected.
Smell: rather powerful, I could get some aromas from 20 cms away. Roasted malt, some root, toffee, dried fruit.
Taste: As by taste, this is one big beer. Roasty notes, verging on acrid (burnt sugar), coffee, raisins, toffee. Drinks more like a barley wine with added roasted notes. I know BJCP says burnt/tarry notes are acceptable but I'm not particularly sure I enjoy them. Still, one big, flavourful, highly enjoyable beer.
Feel: What do you think? Huge body, low carbonation, dry finish. Great and as expected.
Overall: except for these burnt notes, a really good brew. Drink with caution!

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 9.5%, 60 IBU. Pitch black colour, huge tan head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Slightly sweet flavour, roast malts, dark chocolate and coffee again, some bittering hops, hints of liquorice. Warming mouthfeel.

Pours a dark black color with an off-white head.

Sells of molasses and roasted malts.

This looks, tastes, smells, and feels like a well-brewed, yet fairly typical Russian Imperial Stout. What's here is rocksolid though. The malts push the bitterness more than a lot of its peers, but for the most part this is just what you expect - and it's really quite enjoyable.

Dark brown color, tan head. Aroma has roasted malt, some dark, overripe fruits and some booze. Taste is slightly sweet at first but gets quite bitter and roasty with lots of coffee on the finish. Aftertaste lingers with roasted coffee bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad at all but it’s somehow roast heavy and boozy.

I have tried this as draft, at the Toronto Beer Festival.
It is potent and the flavour is leaning strongly towards coffee, with only hints of chocolate. It is lovely but not Peche Mortel, which is my standard in this style. This one is missing that little bit of something. Would have it again though, anytime.

Aroma is pure blackjack chew really juicy and inviting. Flavour is full roast coffee with a hit of liquorice and it goes done so easy
